Here is how that would play out: Meg takes down the negative ads and the media who Brown has in his pocket (among other people) just keeps right on bashing the crap out of Meg. This is a free speech issue. She is exercising hers. Just like Big Labor has against her and against me in my campaign for water board.

Brown is the one that pledged to take his ads down immediately. This is not a free speech issue, this is a stop the damn negativity dammit issue. Meg had the chance to take the high road and declined.
