Krekorian will be Mayor of Los Angeles if and when CD2 lets him run.
Yes, we think so too.
12:45... no he won't.
He may run. But he will not win.
Krekorian is a fraud.
He's playing to the people and being the people's candidate because he won a special election and needs to secure the seat in 2011. He read the political climate well and became the people's councilman, and that has kept competition at bay.
It's not good enough to be less of an ass clown compared to the other ass clowns.
Look at Greuel's face in the background when Krekorian says his opponent (Essel brought to you by the Mayor and Greuel) outspent him 3 to 1 and with Grass Roots Support he was able to win.
Priceless.
If Boxer is campaigning in an area she should be a slam dunk to win, it makes you wonder why Joe B. is more confident than Boxer's campaign.

I too, watched Wendy's face when Krekorian brought up Essel and priceless it was.
I believe Krekorian could win for Mayor and a damn fine Mayor he would be. I don't see proof that he's "playing" anyone. Trojan - you live in CD 12 so state your reasons why you think he's a fraud. CD 2 residents don't think he's a fraud.
You never answered who you thought could win against Englander in a CD 12 race although I personally can think of one person who could smear him, if only she could be convinced to run. Name recognition and money that wouldn't make the CD 12 race much different than the CD 2 race was.
That being said, I think the race is going to be between Wendy and Zev Yaroslavsky.
IS THERE NO POSTING ON THE NEIGHBORHOOD COUNCIL / DONE MEETING SUNDAY. KREKORIAN'S ATTEMPT TO FIX "DONE". HE BROUGHT THIS PROFESSOR WHO TALKED ABOUT HOW EFFECTIVE HE FELT THE COUNCILS ARE, MORE PROMO OF A FAILED SYSTEM. THEN TRYED TO OFFER SUGGESTIONS ON IMPROVEMENTS THAT SOUNDED MORE LIKE A CALL FOR THESE COUNCIL MEMBERS TO FIX THEIR OWN COUNCIL. ANYWAY, THE CITY COUNCIL HAS A HARD TIME GETTING LOCALS TO SHOW UP IN ANY NUMBERS NATURALLY THE NEIGHBORHOOD COUNCILS WILL DO FAR LESS THAN CITY HALL BECAUSE THEY HAVE NO CREDIBILITY WITH THE CITY OR THEIR COMMUNITIES. COMMUNICATION IN THIS CITY STINKS AND THAT IS A PRIMARY REASON WE ARE IN THE FINANCIAL MESS WE ARE IN. HOW MANY OF YOU KNEW OF THE ZONING LAW CHANGES AT THE PLANNING COMMISSION NOT MANY NEIGHBORHOOD COUNCILS OR THE CITY CARED TO PROMOTE IT. THIS COULD HAVE EFFECTED EMINENT DOMAIN LAWS FOR ALL OF LOS ANGELES, YET LITTLE IS SAID IN THE MEDIA ABOUT IT. THEY HARDLY GET TURN OUTS FOR CHANGES TO YOUR DWP SERVICES WHICH WILL EFFECT YOUR BILLS. IMPROVED COMMUNICATION IS KEY. WE ALL NEED TO KNOW, THE CITY GOVERNMENT REALLY DOES NOT CARE IF WE DO.
