Does anyone know how much we are paying for his staff members? Why are staff members so overpaid? Why are councilmembers salaries tied to the judges...so they can get the big raises...rediculous...let's cut their budgets, and reduce staffing, and their salaries!

This is the most childish thing we have ever had happen since this was the 4th floor blog. Banning saying someone's name? It makes me not want to come here. Not because he's not blogging here, although I miss that too but because it's horrendous to ban someone for "ranting". And we all know why he does it. Give me a break. Give him a break. He's smart and that pisses some of you off.
I am so, so, so glad that he has an apartment (and I can tell by your comments that you probably don't know the story) now however he got it and what he had to go through to get it. That makes you not credible to me.

Most posters here liked ZD. There was really only 1 or 2 who consistently wrote the same mean, unnecessary remarks.

Krekorian choosing to start work today although it's Armenian Xmas is a good sign, maybe that with all the talk of ethnicities during the campaign, and though he has a number of Armenians on staff as well as Hacopian being his campaign mgr., that he will work not to be just "the Armenian councilmember."
That kind of getting past your own ethnicity is what we need from ALL of them especially the Latinos, but haven't seen it. They promised that and Antonio was to have been that person, but he turned out to be just another Latino pol, except who happens to wear various ethnic costumes to show at various festivals.
Like Janice and Tom, he looks absurd in Chinese get-ups especially. Like a bad cheap movie with awful casting. Janice Hahn adding the rice paddy peasant hat was a really tacky touch.
