No, what is disgusting is Mike Higby selling his belief system for lord know's what.

What's disgusting is Mike Higby bottlecapping the last post.

What's disgusting is the way you guys make fun of Essel for being a successful woman. So she raises money for public office? So what? That's the name of the game.

While we are on CD2: Does anyone besides me think that it is Hacopian who posts, pitifully, 95% of the posts here with Hacopian's name in it?

Like the "Hacopian must be stopped."

Or the "Hacopian is better than Shallman."

Or the "Hacopian is cheaper than Shallman."

???

He's so transparent. You just know he wants to steal Paul Krekorian's success and make this race about him and take the credit for the victory.

You know he wants to make himself out to be this master strategist that everyone wants to "stop."

You know that he likes himself being talked about in the league of guys like Shallman.

You know that he thinks he will get business out of this.

But the rumors are that he sits around discussing this blog with his buds at Krekorian HQ. He probably pretends to be amused by it, when in reality, he feeds it.

And the fact is, Hacopian can only win a race with an ethnic candidate when he creates ethnic-based muck for the other side. It's really disgusting. It's a slash and burn tactic that is rapidly becoming his calling card.

To Same Old Michael Higby at 10:02,

I guess anyone who doesn't drink the Krekorian Kool Aid is an Essel spinner in the house. How dare any of us disagree with your choice.

Krekorian said the city is “facing too many crises right now to have the captain of the ship running off to run for another office.”

Isn't the State as bad off as the city, and isn't Paul Krekorian doing exactly what he just criticized?

Laughable.

Essel doesn't really organically gain supporters. Most of them are either paid or are getting something out of it. One example of this is Essel has like 300 Facebook friends yet Krekorian has over 3000. I even have more Facebook friends than Essel and I'm just a stupid blogger.

Isn't the birthday party on the same street as Essel's home? I've seen that Robin address before somewhere .

The Villaraigosa letter was sent to 9245 Robin Drive. That would be across the street and a few doors down from this address.

wow....I knew I saw it somewhere. Thanks for the confirmation. This is all so rude and non-representation for CD2. So so rude. There is nothing "community" about Ms. Essel. She's never had to meet a payroll on her own. She'll just be a puppet (as she already has been). It amazes me how easily fooled people can be. Amazing.

The good news for Chris is that she can get smashed at the fundraiser and she only has to walk across the street to get home!

One of you guys used the B word. (no it doesn't matter if you replace the i with an asterisk) I've been schooled that not's okay. So I deleted it. Repost your comment without that word and it will be fine. It was funny otherwise.

I'm sure that the party will go much longer than 2 hours. That is just to get people there early. And Chris lives across the street so the action can always move once the moneybags leave.

I don't even care that Essel's raising money from outside "her" district or from special interests - with contests and consultants costing what they do, they need to raise money wherever they can get it though of course, we can choose to hold WHO is buying them against them.

But what turns me off is that she is inarticulate and unconvincing, both on details and on why she's running. Like the previous Shallman client she's an opportunist who wants to hobnob with the rich and famous and needs that sense of power more than the money.

And don't believe that she'd never consider running for higher office - as Rosendahl says, he got into politics at age 60 and while he SAID as recently as last year "I'm just a (gay) guy in my 60's who wants to make the world a better place," he's now eyeing Diane Feinstein's job in the Senate. (As is Tony V, allegedly.) And the Nooch is same age as Essel, and was always groomed by Cooley to take HIS job as DA in 3 1/2 years, though some are LOL talking Mayor for him. (I hear they're already printing "Nooch for Governor" banners, faster than the pot people are preparing Recall petitions.) Once these people get a "taste" all their promises that "I just want to make the city a better place" go out the window.
