As someone wrote yesterday, why do we who have electricity care about those who don't? It's TEMPORARY!
And if you're posting this for the sake of those who are out of electricity, the chances are that they can't get online.
Bring back the ZD comments! That's more fun than this!

If Nuch and Cooley all along wanted to cut our electricity, he should have run with that agenda and let the electrical consumers KNOW fairly and squarely INSTEAD of lying to them that he'd be a lot more friendly to their cause than Weiss would have. Weiss was no friend of most electricity, and even Rocky wanted to turn most of it off.
Instead Nuch told them he would keep the electricity flowing and got them to walk precincts, as well as call and blog and write and they got out the vote as well as state-wide support. He invited them to his party to "celebrate" and even then, let them be deceived by the delusion that he was in favor of electricity.
Now he's showing his TRU colors as "a liar and demagogue who says anything to anyone to get their endorsement," as Chick said. "With soundbites and fancy speeches that he never intended to honor, that are outlight lies."

My TV flickered, just at the best part of "Good Wife" last night, and I nearly missed a critical plot element.
I'm OUTRAGED. Recall them all.
Hang the Council members in effigy (and, that's not the name of a Valley suburb, Rad Spot!).

Don't you think that in some parts of L.A. City we really should just turn out all the lights and send everyone home, anyway?
What you can see there when the lights are on just isn't "pretty" by any standard!

If you look at the list of these locations, some the same as in the last related posting, there are a lot of real "new yuppie" areas
Maybe if everyone didn't try to recharge their iPods at the EXACT same time, we could balance this out better?

This happens anytime it rains or snows, anywhere in this country. To use this as another slam against DWP is without merit.

Who cares about power outages.
There are still racist white people who don't know where the L.A. Eastside is located.

Bet all that special and valuable expertise from David Nahai is going to pay off now. After a year and a half on the job, I'm sure he'll be able to tell the engineers to switch the lights back on. - That is the next logical step. Right?
