And Now Back to our Regularly Scheduled Programming: Nahai Must Go

"I'm in the waste management business. Everybody immediately assumes you're mobbed up. It's a stereotype. And it's offensive. And you're the last person I would want to perpetuate it... There is no Mafia."
-Tony Soprano

While the Mayor Sam assorted right and left wing nuts teabag away we come to the conclusion before you can make tea, one must have water. Increasingly that's becoming harder and harder to find in Los Angeles with an epic cascade of water pipes bursting and washing away whole neighborhoods.

Yet more water main breaks Saturday this time in Hollywood and on Melrose near Fairfax High. Glenn Singley, LADWP's director of water engineering and technical services told NBC4 the breaks were "not really out of the norm." Uh, someone please fire Mr. Singley.

It's no wonder, Zuma Dogg and others warned about it, but an aging infrastructure combined with no-plan growth and massive City Hall corruption is to blame. While the unions, Clowncil and DWP chase each other's tails to grab money for this and that, excessive pay raises and running scams like Measure B, DWP crumbles. Expect more pipe breaks and more exploding transformers over the next several days and months.

The DWP is headed by H. David Nahai, the latest in a series of incompetent but politically motivated appointments to head the once great agency. Nahai simply must go. From his back room shady dealings to his personal wasting of water at home to now presiding over the implosion of the department's infrastructure Nahai has bungled, bumbled and fumbled his way to judgement day. And don't forget the waterless urinals he promoted which now many residents of Los Angeles have thanks to these pipe breaks. I predict he's gone by Friday.

Most Angelenos are more worried about teabags, birth certificates, calling people racists, calling the President a Muslim or most importantly Ellen DeGeneres coming to American Idol. Maybe now that many of them are waking up to a river of shit in their front yard (one we hear from some local residents that Tom LeBong accidentally walked through in Valley Village) they'll pay some attention to the fraud, waste and abuse at hand.

If you wish to wake up, save this city and start off by demanding that Nahai is fired please call Mayor Villaraigosa at (213) 978-0600 or find your City Council member's number by clicking here. If you live in that City Council district that doesn't have a Council Member because of someone's career opportunism or you don't know who your City Council member is, then call Tom LeBong at (213)-473-7004 because he loves the DWP and since he had to walk through sewage he might be pissed too,

The guy has a thankless job, ordered by Rosendahl and Cardenas to start another round of going around to NC's and HOA's to explain to people why DWP has to hike our rates again.

But by all means, replace him with your blog resident sage Zuma Dogg - someone who has no home so he can't wste water there and has no DWP bill to worry about. Zuma dogg is beyond such material needs or concerns, he is a prophet.

Where do I begin?

First of all, the hybrid he drives is owned by the City.

Nahai owns a Mercedes and tried to have it filled up with City paid for gasoline before his hybrid was purchased.

Second I don't have to repeat the story about Nahai's personal excessive water use that was exposed. So the 27% savings is based on a major excessive use in the prior year.

This guy is a phony and hypocrite. And he is for some reason scrambling to save his reputation before his personal layoff at the end of the month - although he doesn't need this job.

Finally, you mentioned Tom La Bonge, please note the correct spelling (although I don't think he both oars in the water).

You spelled Regularly wrong in the title. You don't have to post this, just correct the spelling.

12:24, note that no one forced Nahai to take the job, that the job pays him about $230,000.00 annually, and the Mayor controls appointments, so Zuma Dogg would not be in the running, and qualifications don't matter anyway, just connections.

Nahai was put in to do Antonio's work and he was supposed to come through on his part for Solar Meas. B, so he's on thin ice to begin with.

Tony probably has had so much shuffling of personnel in and out of his own administration since Obama took office (and taking some of Tony's key people) that Nahai's got a reprieve for a while.

And the Patt Morrison fluff pieces on locals always is softball stuff, more like writing a letter of recommendation for a job. Not news, not biting, not investigative or hard-hitting, just Patt's style of interaction and some people eat it up and wonder why the commotion about such people.

We know better.

An L.A. view.

Greta Idea because there was ANOTHER WATER BREAK LINK FROM AN OLD PIPE ON MELROSE LAST NIGHT. HOW MANY MORE ARE GOING TO CAUSE DAMAGE. THIS IDIOT MAKES OVER $300,000 LET'S GET RID OF HIM.

The Illegal loving politicans are spending $75,000 of our tax dollars on a event Tuesday, for El Grito. Music, food all FREE for ILLEGALS EVEN radical bands. This is fucking crazy!!! I can hardly wait until the 1/2 Sale off their salaries get on the ballot. It will pass beyone our expectations at this rate.

I MOVE that, subject to the approval of the Mayor, $75,000 in the HElGrito" line item in
the General City Purposes Fund No.1 00-56 be transferred to the General Services Trust
Fund No. 843-40, Account No. 280F to pay for various costs associated with this year's
City celebration of El Grito.

Watch Glenn Beck’s idea about how to quarantine corruption at its source

http://www.foxnews.com/glennbeck/index.html

The corruption is not only in L. A. it is across the country and the world. People are finally waking up. Inform yourself and connect the dots.

Those that are speaking the truth have been ridiculed by brainless fools but the time has come when more and more are speaking the truth and their voices cannot be dismissed anymore.

Is there any subject at all at which you are not a world famous expert?

You savage just about the entire spectrum on a regular basis; what qualifies you to make such outrageous judgments about the competancy or incompetancy of all these folks?

Please share with us your formal and informal educational credits so that we may understand the depth of knowledge from which you draw these epiphanies of insightful clarity.

In other words, what gives you the authority to make these calls?

(Don't tell me it is because you won the blog; that's bullshit. We know you own it. So what? It doesn't make you right.)
