Jack is interviewed in L A magazine today about the chief and comes across as dignified and a class act as always, unlike these bozos. I can't imagine him ever reading this stuff, let alone posting here, get a grip and don't flatter yourself.
As if there aren't tons of people who are commenting about these clowns all over town and realizing along with Chick what they've gotten stuck with. People are determned to keep their ambitions and vengeful vendettas in check.

Even if some or all (?) of the food was donated there were significant costs to the city for chair/ table furniture rentals; security detail including cops, set-up/ clean-up custodian services, grounds maintenance, etc. etc.
How much did it all cost the city? We need an accounting of every dime, since this is a totally frivolous event designed solely to buy PR for those two fat-asses. Making buffoons of themselves as usual - who needs to see them making such embarrassments of themselves at our expense, they do it all the time every day anyway.
The cake;s donor is listed, but who donated the other food AND WHY? Do they do business with the city or city attorney's office, what is the precise connection?
Many attorneys and staffs didn't want to go, and people reporting pressure to do so to avoid possible retribution. Any time subordinates are coerced to attend an unpaid event to "show support" for their boss is questionable, and the city attorney should have known better.
This is just one of a number of events these two fat-asses are having at city expense INCLUDING THE COUNTY DA STEVE COOLEY WHO IS AS USUAL INSTIGATING TRUTANICH TO USE OUR CITY FUNDS THAT WE DON'T HAVE. Often to copy him, e.g. pushing to hire personal staff and hugely expand the investigtive internal police force, to use them against COOLEY'S ENEMIES.
Their crazy threats of "possible criminal charges" thrown here there and everywhere involve the inappropriate use of city funds to further the County DA's agenda and to use the city attorney staff to do so as well. This is collusion and possible conspiracy to commit fraud for personal and political purposes, as some are calling it, a McCarthyist witchhunt.
Events like this are just designed to lure people into their web by posing as "ordinary fat Average Joe Six-packs" which is their usual M O. If this had been continuing a previous annual event it would be different but Rocky did not have nearly the waste this egomaniac Trutanich does already.
