Mayor Sam's Hotsheet for Tuesday

Scientists are concerned that a swarm of small quakes near the Salton Sea on lesser faults leading to the San Andreas could potentially be transfering the energy that could fuel "the big one." Graham Kent, a research geophysicist at UC San Diego told the LA Times that the recent quakes are "a flashing yellow light that tells you to be prepared and to spend some time trying to understand the significance."

A battle underway by some residents in Van Nuys that want to rebrand as Sherman Oaks.  Read more about it here.

Despite orders from the Mayor to stop it and condemnations from City Controller Laura Chick over City deparments including the DWP ordering bottled water on the City's dime Police Chief William Bratton is defending his purchases of bottled water.  If the water is solely for emergencies and for officers in the field that's one thing.  We at the Sister City would like to know if the LAPD is using bottled water for management meetings or other purposes not directly benefitting the officers.  You can email us or call the hotline above if you have evidence of such.

Is Governor Schwarzenegger considering a run for the Republican nomination for US Senate next year? CBS says the signs are out there.  I would assume however the Republican nominee should actually be a Republican however.

How come you didn't write anything about Rick Orlov's coverage of yesterdays's Public Safety Committee meeting where they called for Ed Bok's head on a platter, and chastizing him for his outrageous blogging and cutting of the spay and neuter program?

Michael you didn't even read the story in Daily News on LAPD bottled water. What the hell is this world coming to when police officers responding to emergencies like fires, hostage situations that take sometimes 18 hours or whatever get questioned over fucking WATER!!!!! Dumb asses should go after the Mayor and the waste in city hall. Why don't put up a thread on the four police officers Killed in the Line of duty in Oakland and see how people shortly after the officers killings started to verbally assault and taunt them outside. LA is so petty against LAPD yet they are the ones being assaulted by gangsters and you people bitch about fucking water.

9:43 you are so quick to criticize YOU didn't read.

I said nothing wrong with water for cops in the field. (Though I think that businesses and individuals should step up to donate that as well in times like these. I'll donate a case - where do I send it?)

We just don't think that the Imperial Bratton should be serving Perrier at his soiree's at Headquarters on the taxpayer dime.

It's great for Bratton to feign incredulity on behalf of the officers when he is so shady to begin with.

GERAT idea to have donations for water. But how pathetic is it that they have to ask. Isn't Chick the idiot that signed off on that $4 million check for Fleishman Hillard then when asked about it said she didnt know what she was signing. People this is who we have in office.

Bratton doesn't care about anybody telling him anything unless it comes from Antonio himself. The instruction by Antonio a few years back is part of the effort to conserve spending where possible. The poster complaining this matter is not looking at it in that contextt.

It's not the water itself- it could have been any material that was alternatively available, but the problem is the attitude shown that tells you Bratton is not in agreement as part of the entire team as a city.

The idea of making policies is to follow them. It's not about water, but. again, that's the part that shows Bratton's arrogance when the issue is raised. Nobody said anything about "deserving" it or not. Practicality in complying would be another matter, but Bratton's not working on that level, just throwing up a contrary attitude.

The complaint about why not post here on the Oakland police murders is about what failing of the blog really? That crime was an outrageous act and the ex-con with such a history should have been kept there- nothing he did showed any rehabilitation and having guns was a big sign that he did not intend to change.

The rest of the city and waste issues still matter and that all is expected to be abiding by the rules, unaffected by this dispute.

But that's not "city" politics of L.A. and that's not the same adminstration as LAPD, so complaining by redirecting to that topic in response to the Bratton/LAPD audit issue is off the mark as a separate thing, and independently important.

Bratton would resist ANY criticism of ANYTHING brought up that cramps his style. If Antonio had any consistency to his alleged leadership, he'd work it out with Bratton so you wouldn't have the Chief complaining and not acting.

observation in L.A.

How chicken=shit to hammer the LAPD for some $18,000/ year bottled water (*which the dept. says is actually for 1 1/2 years). Who cares if the cops use it outside of field emergencies and management use it at their meetings too? If you think about how much it would cost to put out, collect and wash bottles and glasses of water, the waiters and the cleanup crew, it would be more. Ever try putting on a meeting?

The amount of money spent by Chick to harass the Chief is the real waste. WAY more than the amount in question. How has she saved the city anything? Sounds more like she's using it as another high-profile situation to get attention by bashing someone.

Oh and this blog is only for LA city politics? You need a reality check. Hellooo this is the moron Chick N Shit who had a private meeting at her house with her staff to go after Hahn. She'll say they were on their own time which is bullshit. They will tell you they had to go. No other Mayor has been so intrusive to the LAPD as all our loser city council and Chick n shit and Villaraigosa. Can you imagine how the officers out in the field must feel knowing they are kicking ass in areas that are more like Bagdad and these assholes always complain. Typical Los Angeles screwed up losers.

You should be ashamed of your ignorance and apathy for the people who bust their asses doing this city's dirty work.

Today was one of the biggest, "I told you so's" of all time for Zuma Dogg at the Los Angeles City Council meeting today: First of all, after all of my hollering about REAP (Rent Escrow Account Program) and how this Federal lawsuit waiting to happen was hurting both owners and renters:

WELP, today, Carol Knapp showed up with a Federal lawsuit in her hand (as predicted/promised and WARNED about by ZD); and there was an 84 year old lady who was a famous Spanish language movie actress that was bamboozled by the program. SO I TOLD YOU SO, COUNCILOSERS!

THEN, if you remember my posts, last year, about the problems with the way the city is enforcing it's performers space portion of the Venice Beach ordinance 42.15 when I was complaining about "Machetti Boy" and even had to complain that I, myself, was run off the beach, in the run of my life (in which I have never returned to Venice as a vendor or performer since).

It is all over the FACT that a Federal judge said the city had to provide 17 spaces, throughout Ocean Front Walk (the "board walk").

However, we all know that Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaragiosa has NO REGARD for Federal law (see Villar's Federal HUD bamboozle when he is claiming to President Barack Obama that he put 20,000"affordable housing" units online, however Zuma Dogg has learned that 20,000 hotel units are now being counted as "affordable housing").

So Villaraigosa's City Hall administration scaled back the number of performers spaces from 17 to 5!!! And they are clumped together in one area. THE PROBLEM IS, THESE ARE PERFORMERS SPACES!!!

SO IT DOESN'T DO ANY GOOD TO HAVE PIANO PLAYER NEXT TO A GUITARIST IN THE SAME SMALL AREA!!!

So 5 spaces all close together, instead of 17 spaces all throughout as required by a FEDERAL JUDGE!!!

So Zuma Dogg already saw a draft today at city hall of the NEW lawsuit that is being filed in FEDERAL COURT. (Oh, Judge Pregerson is gonna LOVE this one. He's gonna LOVE City Council!)

And please make sure you check out Zuma Dogg's public comment from today's council meeting, because it is followed by the guy from Venice who was stabbed. And he is in PAIN!!! You'll see that. I'm glad Janice Hahn and Tom LaBong stopped giggling and laughing during their little side bar, while my stabbed, bandadged and in pain homie was talking about the issue. (Of course I had to get Garcetti's attention the hard way, before he told those two to shut up and be respectful of the stabbing victim, who was stabbed over Villar and Council's policy in violation of FEDERAL LAW!

Zuma Dogg's public comment addresses both issues that I warned about, and now you have two victims of the situation right here before you now. So Zuma Dogg felt a lot less lonely. Because I was surrounded by the people I have been talking about, while council pretended none of this was happening.

So I also added, "My name's Zuma Dogg, L.A.'s Bamboozle-buster, shining light on political shadiness. And I'm going to take out a classified ad: "WANTED: Desperate constituent in search of leadership in L.A. City Council chambers; because I don't see any?"

I added that since there isn't anyone taking on a leadership role, and I have two giant "I told you so's" based on recent public comments, I'm just going to start calling the shots and y'all better take charge and start running the city, council. (HUGE CHEERS!)

And I actually think Council is getting the message. Because they have to be shocked at this point with my level of specificy and accuracy on trends that are before us. I won't run through the list, and the spinlosers can try and mock me all I want. But I saw and felt what happened inside council chambers today when Zuma Dogg took to the mic before the packed house:

First of all, when they announced my name and I took to the podium, the crowd cheered and applauded for ZD. BUT AFTER the two minute speech, the crowd of mostly black and hispanics busted out into CHEERS and applause! IT FELT F-ING GREAT! (And if you read my Zuma Times blog post you will see I wasn't having the best day, and I seriously have no idea how I even ended up walking into chambers. But the energy of the crowd kicks in, I hit them with one of my hardest and best public comments ever (in my opinion) and the crowd busted out into cheers. And as they all filed out at the end of public comment, everyone was giving me the Obama pounds (handshakes are SO out) -- and it was a very diverse crowd among ages, sex and ethnicity (african and hispanic) and the message will live on via repeats at 7:30pm and 12mid and again on Sunday replay. (Plus internet, and I will post the direct link.)

SO WITH ALL OF THE "I TOLD YOU SO'S" OUT OF THE WAY, HERE IS MY PREDICTION FOR WHAT WILL BECOME THE BIG ISSUE THAT ALL THESE AM RADIO TALK SHOW HOSTS WILL EVEN BE FORCED TO DEVIATE FROM THEIR "IMMIGRATION RANTS" OVER:

MUERELLO MADDOX AND THE DOWNTOWN LOS ANGELES COMMERCIAL REAL ESTATE SITUATION. Bascially, it's Downtown L.A.'s Enron-style scandal. The are about to go belly up on all the payments they need to make, and someone bigger is going to have to step in like a bank to bail em out and take over the properties. AND WHEN THEY LOOK INTO THE BOOKS, ZUMA DOGG IS HERE TO TELL YOU TALK SHOW HOSTS AND NEWSPAPER REPORTERS:

YOU WILL BE SPENDING A WHOLE LOT OF TIME REPORTING ON ALL THE FRAUDULENT PERMITS THAT MUERELLO MADDOX SUBMITTED TO THE CITY AND WERE APPROVED.

And did you know that as goes Downtown Los Angeles, so goes the rest of the city? Why do you think all the focus on the Grand Ave and LA Live projects? Although it isn't going to work, the city is DESPERATE to revitalize Downtown and once again, turn it into the "economic hub" of the region. (See Zuma Dogg SCAG articles, do a Google search.)

HOWEVER, it is a faulty premise to think that people will drive Downtown from the Valley and across the region for an upscale version of the same Starbucks, GAP and Trader Joe's?

AND DID YOU KNOW that if you check Villaraigosa's campaign contributions from when he won election for the first term, I think it will show that Muerello Maddox was one of Villaraigosa's TOP TWO contributors.

AND M.M. is the BIGGEST developer downtown...and I mean the BIGGEST!

So now, you have a situation, where the city has rolled the dice on revitalizing downtown and returning it into a real economic hub with real people living there...

AND IT'S ABOUT TO GO BELLY UP UNDER FRAUDULENT PERMITS. Now if ZUMA DOGG is here to tell you to look for fraudlent permits...HOW COME THE CITY COULDN'T TELL THEMSELVES???

MAYBE THEY SHOULD HIRE ZUMA DOGG.

Meanwhile, if ANYONE thinks the future of Los Angeles is ANYTHING outside of jail time for the people in charge and Barack Obama going on National television to say that the City of Los Angeles needs a Federal bailout because as the city that 40% of all U.S. goods trucks through...(everyone sing along)..."IT'S JUST TOO IMPORTANT TO FAIL." And it is, because as L.A. goes, so goes the State and as goes the State of California, so does the Country.

But I will probably tune into the AM talk shows and read the news headlines for the next couple months and hear the exact same old stuff, over and over and over and over again. I'll have to suffer through Kevin James carrying out some kind of wacky vendetta against Obama for the next four years, as local issues go uncovered. But a WWE announcer has a job to do, and so does Kevin James. So it's not really about real Olympic style wrestling that is being discussed and covered, but the WWE Hulk Hogan/The Rock kinda coverage.

But I'm here to tell these ostriches stuck in the same rut, recycling the same old air, over and over like a WWE announcer:

YOU WILL BE SCREAMING YOUR NUTTY HEADS OFF OVER THIS ONE. Can someone please send me an email when that happens. I may as well head back over to FM for a while. The AM talk radio dial is now basically competley useless when it comes to covering local issues. Because even when the local talk show hosts come on, they have to jump in on the national Obama bashing...THEN, when they choose to cover local issues, it's the same "illegal immigration" talk, which is important, but disproportionate in coverage in my opinion, because there ARE other issues to discuss and be dealt with that is hurting the residents of Los Angeles. And if these issues were being addressed, all of the other stuff wouldn't be as problematic. (More on what that means next time. But for example, if the Federal money for the immigrants actually made it into the community instead of the political cronies and relative's hands, that would be a starting point.)

Besides that: PLEASE GET OFF OF THIS SOLAR NONSENSE WHEN YOU HAVE OLD, OUTDATED, FAULTY-FAULTY-FAULTY DWP INFRASTRUCTURE (TRANSFORMERS) THAT NEED TO BE REPLACED BECASUE THAT IS WHAT IS REALLY RUNNING THE CITY. AND WAIT UNTIL THE FIRST GOOD HEATWAVE THIS SUMMER: Hope Al Gore is wrong and we don't have one, but it's gonna be "Lights out Los Angeles!"

Should be fun! (If an "Anarchy, all hell breaks loose like a Rodney King riot" is your idea of fun.) Otherwise, if you are a property owner based on a long-term future plan beyond two or three years...

HEAD FOR THE HILLS...GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. GET THE HELL OUT OF HERE. I AM TRYING TO BE PRAGMATIC AND TEMPERED IN MY MESSAGE OF "IT'S OVER AND IT AIN'T COMING BACK, GET THE HELL OUT OF HERE IF YOU HAVE MORE THAN A TWO YEAR FUTURE PLAN ANYWHERE IN L.A. CITY.

(You HAVE been warned. And remember, EVERY TIME I make one of these predictions it sounds crazy and think it is impossible and will never happen. But I have a three year track record now, making these predicitions in the most turbulent of economic predicitons, coupled with the inside information from the people who know.

And yes, the reason I am making a big deal about Muerello Maddox is because I think I have heard things that are not generally known by the public yet. That's what I am here for. People like to tell me inside stuff. And I like to tell you. And just because you supported Walter Moore for mayor, is no reason to ignore it.

And when it finally breaks BIG in L.A. Times, then all the little talkers will THEN talk about it. So that's why local talk show hosts are losing out to national syndication. They try to do a national show better than the national hosts, and it doesn't work. Meanwhile, the local talk show hosts and their program directors are GIVING AWAY THEIR ONLY COMPETITIVE ADVANTAGE AGAINST SATELLITE RADIO, iPod in cars and even newspapers (newspapers only come out once a day, but radio wait until it comes out in the LA Times before they cover it). DUH?!?!

Meanwhile, I can sure tell based on the feedback from the diverse crowd in chambers and as I walk the streets...YOU LOSERS (all the public personas with NO SPINE) ARE JUST HANDING IT TO ME. Thank you and keep it up. I know you will, because you have no discipline, focus and cannot help yourself. ;)

Local Latino Groups Endorse Measure B

Latino organizations join growing list of labor, environmental, health and Democratic organizations to endorse Measure B, bringing more solar power to Los Angeles than anywhere else in the nation

Los Angeles- Urban Semillas, Mujeres de la Tierra, Anahuak Youth Sports Association, Barrio Action Youth and Family Center, and Union de Vecinos announced their support for “Measure B: Green Energy and Good Jobs for Los Angeles,” coming up on the city’s March 3 ballot. Measure B, the largest solar initiative of its kind, will require and empower the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power to install 400 megawatts of solar power on buildings throughout the city by 2014, making LA the nation’s first solar city.

WHY DIDN'T LA SLIMES OR DAILY NEWS REPORT THIS???

THESE ARE THE TJ'S WHO SUPPORT ILLEGALS. WHY ISN'T LAURA CHICK N SHIT auditing these non profits that get city money from our taxes and spend on bullshit like this for Antonio. There are 65,000 NON PROFITS IN THE STATE OF CALIF.

$217 BILLION IS WHAT THEY GET. We need to know how many are in Los Angeles and how much each gets. The Executive directors drive new cars, make close to $90,000 all paid by us.

Oh damn, that IS long? Am I crazy? How did I even type that? And then to follow it up with this truly madness:

Zuma Dogg on "The Future of Los Angeles City and County" (Head For The Hills!)

There is a lot of speculation on the socio-economic status of Los Angeles City and County.

Over the past several years, statistics show that the high-quality jobs have left the region and have been replaced by low-quality, unskilled positions. Jobs like manufacutring, financial and consulting industries.

Reports have also shown that the "middle class" has vacated the city and are being replaced by low-income workers, many of which do not speak the English language; and now that the construction boom is over, many of the people from Mexico who came here for these high paying jobs, are now here in the city, unemployed.

And when you look at the L.A. population boom (all the people that the City Council Housing and Planning Chairs say we need to build accomodations for) are families, many of them single parents, that are having more kids per mother than the United States culture and accomodations are used to.

But when you look around at the way Los Angeles Mayor Anotnio Villaraigosa and his spineless "take the money and don't get in the way" City Council puppets have been running and developing the city, you would think that the city is filled with new Arab Emerate of Dubai oil shieks who are moving here and need five star Mandarin Hotels and boutique shops and luxury Ritz Carlton condos as you have built downtown (and are "allegedly" planning to build if Grand Avenue Project ever gets out of it's own rut; and Zuma Dogg says it WON'T!)

Look at all the nice, new luxury condos (sitting vacanat and plummeting in value) Downtown. (Gotta LOVE Related Cos.) When you drive around, conceptually, it all looks great and who wouldn't want to live in a nice unit like that?

Welp, the people who are coming to this city and who are populating it with more and more kids do not have the jobs or bank accounts to buy that kind of housing. (Unless you offer it all as a "no money down, no financial background check, just sign here and we believe you "subprime" contract.

AND HAVE YOU HEARD? Downtown Los Angeles' BIGGEST commercial developer Muerello Maddox is going belly up and under and will not be able to pay it's debt. Oh well, looks like all of that property is going to be taken over by some bank. Meanwhile, if you read my post below this one, Zuma Dogg feels we will be finding that this situation is like L.A.'s own "Enron" scandal as the owners took the money and ran after many fraudulent permits were filed and accepted by the city. So those who feel Downtown L.A. is poised to make a comback and become the economic regional hub it once was...IT NEVER WORKS THAT WAY. AND IT CERTAINLY ISN'T GOING TO EVEN IMPROVE, but get worse. THE BOTTOM HAS FALLEN OUT OF DOWNTOWN WITH THIS MUERELLO MADDOX DEAL. And the entire economic situation, and there is no end in sight to the wasteful spending because you have fifteen Tom Labong's sitting inside council chambers that don't have the courage, leadership, knowledge or discipline to accomplish the goal of navigating the city under these circumstances.

And just as we will be needing more emergency shelter and housing for the scores of "first time homeless" that are taking and will be taking to the streets: Governor-elect Antonio Villaraigosa gave STATE VOTER APPROVERD PROP 1C MONEY -- FOR EMERGECY SHELTER FOR BATTERED WOMEN, CHILDREN, SENIORS AND DISABLED VETERANS --

AND...

GAVE IT...

TO RELATED COS/ARAB EMERATE ROYAL FAMILY OF DUBAI, HIGHLY SUBSIDIED...

COMMERCIAL PARK PAVED WITH CEMENT (not a park but a mall, in my opinion)!

That's the type of guy you let into city hall and now he will probably be the next Governor of California.

SO LET ME BREAK IT DOWN FOR YOU, ONCE AGAIN: Zuma Dogg wakes up every day and tries to see into the future...predict trends, if you will. And after three years of predicitons at this level, and seeing how it plays out in reality...I am not trying to be agendized one way or the other, or be a rabble-rouser or instigator, or even controversial. As usual, I am trying to issue public notice so the appropriate measures can be taken. And I feel Villaraigosa is going down the completely wrong direction.

But that's because he only has one direction...the route to the most money. And you don't always cash in and capitalize for yourself when you do what's right.

BUT HERE'S WHAT KEEPS HIS EVIL INTENT ALIVE: People are optimisitc. They are always overly optimistic that the fog will clear and everything will bounce back to the highest of highs as though you are wearing "flubber" shoes. I heard this all throughout this recent stock market "adjustment" over the past year and a half.

The more I warned that the 12,000 market was going to 10,000 then 8,000...the louder and more scornful the attacks against me were. AND NO MORE SO THAN IN MY OWN PERSONAL LIFE WITH MY LIFELONG FRIENDS AND FAMILY MEMEBERS THAT I ALL CALLED TO WARN. They told me the market always bounces back and it's not as bad as the (fill in the blank). Except one thing: The roulette wheel came up on green double zero and it's worse that ever. (Ooops, just slightly wrong on their part.)

So now, people are optimistic that all these jobs that shut-down shop and vacated Los Angeles like a Trapper M.D. "M*A*S*H" unit -- and all those middle class homeowners who vacated like college students from Ft. Lauderdale at the end of a Spring Break Weekend -- are ALL going to magically decide to move back and these corportations are all going to decide that, as Villaraigosa is creating any and every new tax and fee he can think of, then raising it -- and all the problematic permit processes and vindictive spirit in which to do business because they have not committed to Dr. Deming's 14 points plan -- they are going to bring back maufacturing and high quality jobs, even though LAUSD cannot produce enough non-dropouts to fill the jobs.

So my message on all of this, is people...GET REAL...while you are waiting for the Federal government to do all those things you are screaming about on the AM radio dial...and while you may be a mayor or councilmember that wants to continue with this upscale, luxury madness -- because in a year or so everything will be back to normal, because you are TALKING about bringing back jobs and making the streets safe and doing all the speculative things in your magical American Dream future: The reality is the future is a low income population boom of people with a lot more kids that this country is used to seeing, who will be needing more and more social services than ever under these circumstances and even the people who were here for good construction jobs are out of work now, and there is no reason whatsover to believe that the future of this city is anything else besides low income housing for low income people and a magic bullet mag train for everyone else to boogie out of here before it's REALLY too late. SO START SPENDING THE MONEY ON THE INFRASTRUCTRE FOR THE FUTURE OF THE CITY...

Think, "What would Eli Broad do?" THEN DO THE OPPOSITE! And to all the people who are trying to reverse this trend...you better look into Zuma Dogg's crystal ball and start dealing with the situation that is here on the streets, right before you, in the present, because people boil to death over optimism. And although you are not wrong, there is also no evidence that the Untied States of America is moving in the direction of doing a thing about the immigration problem as you describe it. So the only difference between ZD and the AM Talk show hosts, is they are trying to call a "time out" and ignore everything else until the paddy wagon starts busting workers on their jobs...and Zuma Dogg says, while you are waiting for that, you better stop dreaming that L.A City is going to be on par with Dubai. GIVE IT UP!

If you live on the Westside and can't imagine what I am talking about, go to where ZD likes to hang out, Highland Park and that CD 14/CD 1 area. You are not going to rip all of that away and replace it with millionaires offering high paying jobs to the rest. DON'T YOU SEE IT PEOPLE!?!?!? LOS ANGELES IS ABOUT TO STAND FOR SOMETHING VERY DIFFERENT THAN WE ARE USED TO, JUST AS WE HAVE HAD TO LEARN TO LIVE WITH A DIFFERENT STOCK MARKET AND DIFFERENT EVERYTHING!!!

You may as well elect Villaraigosa Governor of California and let him finish the job he was sent here to do since his early college days. It is already playing out. He has already done it. The vampire has sucked the victim dry (Los Angeles) and now has to find the next victim (the State) for the people he represents.

DUMMY ALERT:

Oh no...here we go again. Zuma Dogg is going to have to sit here and listen to Barack Obama and Antonio Villaraigosa sit here and talk about the need to "create jobs" and start projects that "create jobs."

Now, I know that Barack Obama is Mr. Bigshot President of the United States; and Antonio Doucheairagosa is whatever the hell he is...but neither one of them are internationally published experts on Dr. Deming's 14 point economic miracle that ACTUALLY DID NOT ONLY STIMULATE THE JAPANESE ECONOMY, BUT COMPLETELY RE-BUILT IT FROM THE BOTTOM, UP.

Fortunately for the readers of Zuma Times, the founder and writer happens to be an internationally published expert on these 14 points, so my opinion carries HUGE, HUGE weight and clout. And I really don't care how you think that sounds...because I am not running for mayor, anymore, so I really don't care if you like me, or not, or think my grandstanding is obnoxious. To the people I am trying to get to read this, that is how they are motivated. Through my disgracing them through a superiority complex, which I now suffer from, after being surrounded by 15 councildummies and the big, little dummy himself, L.A. Mayor Antonio Dummyraigosa.

So here is what I am here to tell you: YOU DO NOT STIMULATE THE ECONOMY IN A REAL OR MEANINGFUL WAY BY GOING OUT OF YOUR WAY TO FUND PROJECTS JUST BECAUSE THEY CREATE JOBS. That is the type of dummy-think that and dummy-action that got us in this mess.

Barack, I know you are a rookie, and have not dedicated yourself to constant and never-ending improvement since 1986, in the way that I have. So I do not begrudge you for making these rookie, empty exhortations that will only mask the problem.

So how do you create jobs then, without false projects like the false stimulus. Because I'm here to tell you folks, (he like to use the word, "folks" cause it's "folksy"), the last thing we need right now are a bunch of "shovel ready" projects for stuff like improvements we really don't need. Or the money to make them.

So here is how you create jobs: Through innovation of product and services. When 2000 people became millionaires at Microsoft, the economy wasn't stimulated by the restoration of the building that they were working out of. It was stimulated by the jobs that were created by a new and innovative product. Steve Jobs did the same thing at Apple. The first thing you need to stimulate the economy, which then stimualtes job growth, is that you need a unique and compelling reason for the product or service.

Domino's Pizza wouldn't have stimulated the Detroit area it was headquartered out of if he started another chain like Pizza Hut. They focused on 3o minute of less deliver. And that was something new and innovative! Fed EX did it with "overnight delivery."

You don't stimulate the economy by saying we are going to create jobs by re-paving the runways Fed Ex airplanes fly down. A fresh coat of paint ain't gonna bring back the jobs we really need.

So it is time to become innovative, once again.

And if you want to know what that means more specifically, call 213-785-7272 and hire Zuma Dogg to tell you. I will be glad to sit in with you and your advisors (or managers for you private sector folks) and will take your feedback and apply the 14 points to your specific situation and explain to you more, specfically, what I mean when I say that you create jobs through innovation of products and services. I think most people reading know what I mean, but people always like examples so they can test their understand and become more confident in their instincts. But ZD is a little too hungry to paint it all out for a bunch of dummies who don't want to take time to understand the situation they are in charge of, at a holistic level. So keep being analytical, you non-Deming-dummies. Keep doing the exact same thing that got you into this mess...just try to think a little harder and push a little harder. I'm sure it will all turn around because you have HOPE!

ONE COMMENT ON THE FEAR OF EARTHQUAKES. IN CALIFORNIA AND LOS ANGELES OUR POLITICAL OFFICIALS KEEP WORKING WITH DEVELOPERS TO BUILD LARGER (TALLER) BUILDINGS INCREASE AREA DENSITY IN ALL OUR URBAN CENTERS NOTHING IS BEING DONE TO ADD HOSPITALS, WATER LINES AND STORAGE , WASTE MANAGEMENT TO HANDLE ALL THE NEW ARRIVALS. GUESS WHAT!! THE EARTHQUAKE WILL HAVE MORE TO KILL AND THERE WILL BE LESS WATER TO DRINK WHICH WILL RUN OUT FASTER AND BROKEN WASTE LINES (DISEASE). DOES ANYONE THINK OF THIS!!!
