Mayor Sam's Hotsheet for Tuesday

If you want to make a contribution to Wendy Greuel's campaign for Controller she's asking that you do it during the curent reporting period which ends Wednesday. Opponents to Proposition B might want to take note of Wendy's kick-off picnic on January 10 in Sherman Oaks Park as their chance to ask Wendy what she thinks of this shady measure.

The Daily Breeze takes notes of Mayor Villaraigosa's online budget survey that is not so much telling for what it asks but for what it doesn't ask. Nowhere in the survey is there room for taxpayers to offer cuts to general administration expenses, Council or Mayor salaries, staffs, perks, CRA developer subsidies or other areas of bloat. But you can be a good citizen and step up to volunteer to have police, fire or tree trimming services cut.

The Mayor must think everyone but he himself are stupid. The latest secret plan hatched out of City Hall is an effort to privatize some services, including selling the naming rights of certain City Buildings (such as the Downtown Central Riordan Library to Phillip Morris) to sponsors. Laura Chick blew the lid on the plan which, as noted by Rick Orlov, won't win her any friends in the Mayor's office. Laura Chick was status quo as a Council Member but she's really done a great job as Controller shaking up the system.

Via David Markland's KNBC blog we learn that a Russian college professor predicts that California and the west will eventually be part of China. That flies in the face of some political candidates who seem to think we're becoming part of Mexico.

Zocalo, the public affairs non-profit that gets big sponsorships from Bank of America, The Gas Company s and even the Westside White Guy, has a very compelling interview with Council President Eric Garcetti. In the piece we learn that Garcetti finds beauty in well designed websites, that it's always springtime in Los Angeles and that he'd like to have a beer and go hunting with Teddy Roosevelt. On the other hand we learn nothing about why he put the lid on a report showing that Proposition B is shady and unworkable.

NO one should give Wendy Greusome a dime beause SHE was part of the negoiating team behind closed doors for the Solar crap. Ask her who will she represent as Controller the Mayor? If Laura Chick was so great why isn't she or Wendy speaking out on the SECRECY GANG MONEY??? It's our tax dollars and we have a right to know where that money is going. Is it going to known gang banger felons like we found out? Hector Marroquin and Mario Corona were arrested for felonies last year and yet the city gave them millions for their "gang programs."

If you want to take a budget poll that lets you weigh in on wasteful spending, visit TheWalterMoorePoll.com. I ask the questions the Mayor should have, like, would you be willing to cut his staff of 93?

May both those yawns cause your jaws to lock and leave you in a state that easily catches flies and little else.
By process of elimination you are obviously lined up already to cast your vote for this useless (actually dangerous) excuse for a Mayor we've been stuck with. He's an embarassment to our City, his Raza, and human beings at large. Yes Walter is straight to the point, he's pragmatic and somewhat coarse, but he doesn't cater to the media like the monkey Villar does. All signs point to the stong possibility that we'll be left to endure another term with the little jerk, and sooner than later we'll be at the mercy of the Mexican drug cartels while the lil monkey dances the night away with
hookers.

You can vote for Zuma Dogg!

Right now, Zuma Dogg is starting to look like the most policy oriented candidate. Sad.

I might call wendy and offer her 5 bucks. and not for the campaign.

Zuma Dogg IS the most policy oriented candidate. David jumps any train that rolls by, Villaraigosa is a lightweight and Walter Moore is a one note anti-immigrant wack job. Zuma Dogg does have the best handle on the issues sadly.

Walter Moore is not a "one-note anti-immigrant whack job" as Anonymous (ZD?) says.

However, I think he is snotty, snobbish, pretentious and condescending. He seems to like to lecture to people on how great he is and how he is always right on every subject.

In short... he is a typical lawyer.

Am I the only one getting tired of his B.S?

He gets obliterated in the 2005 election and somehow this actually ENCOURAGES him to run again!

Ladies and Gentlemen...

Mr. 2.7 % of the vote.... WALTER MOORE!!

Now that the apathetic, idiotic voting public appears to be handing 4 more years to the Mexican jumping bean...I wonder if he will double his staff of 93 aides!

LA is going to get what they deserve...the booby prize!

Dear Clueless Phil:

The only slime chance you have of getting elected mayor, which is something like the chances of a comet landing on your head, is if all of you little gadfly candidates team up to get enough votes to force the mayor in into a runoff.

I'm no Walter Moore fan, but what this means is that you don't attack those who are part of the same effort. Each of you must focus all your attention on the Mayor.

Hey, thanks you guys saying good stuff about policy. That's REALLY hittin' 'em where it hurts.

And I hope to be able to raise awareness of the hell is going on in this city, under Viagraiosa, on any national news media that may come my way, now that the elections are coming up.

[In other words, what if ZD pops up on some national news show, because of the "ZD" character -- and instead of singing like the Bee Gees or Whitney Houston, this time...I hammer the mayor publicly on national airwaves and end up raising some national awareness as to Corruptariagosa. COULD BE FUN!]

But anyway...thanks for the policy comments! Maybe the Obama people are checking out this blog and they are seeing what is up with Villar. Maybe that's why Barack wouldn't touch him.

ZD!

I have heard rumors that Antonio didn't get offered a job by Hillary or Obama because they felt he could never pass the vetting process.

Too dirty...too many skeletons in his closet.

A leopard can not change its spots.

And Tony Villar can change his name, but he is still Tony Villar.

Unfortunately, Los Angeles residents have to live with this fact.

It's not pleasant.
