Payments to our spouses are "Nothing Improper" - SEIU

If you are a member of the Service Employees International Union, SEIU, ask your union bosses why, if there's "nothing improper" by paying their friends & spouses tens of millions of dollars in side business transactions, why does it take a newspaper for those payments to see the light of day?

It is in today's L.A. Times.

Didn't the SEIU work for Villaraigosa to be elected mayor? Isn't SEIU the union that Martin Ludlow got nailed on for the felony or was that another union?

Ludlow was SEIU.

AV got dollars from SEIU and once local locals reached the cap, AV got money from SEIU locals in New York and elsewhere well outside SoCal. It's all verifiable on the City's Ehtics website.

Nepotism!

Isnt SEIU responsible for the demonstrations in the City using the aliens?

3:03, you're exactly right! And, they used the SCOPE building on Florence(a city-owned building) to do it. That's why Mayor AV is trying to stop Parks from evicting the tenants.

Well, somebody has to say it:

EMPEROR STERN HAS NO CLOTHES!

Actually, tragically, people have been saying it for some time, but unlike the tale of the emperor's new clothes our parents read to us, at the SEIU International Executive Board, it's:
"WHAT DO YOU MEAN HE HAS NO CLOTHES?
HIS CLOTHES ARE GREAT!
HOW DARE YOU?
WE ARE PLACING YOU IN TRUSTEESHIP!"

In the name of greed, power and megalomania, Stern is destroying the SEIU, and other SEIU leaders in the US, Canada and Puerto Rico are letting him get away with it.

It's gotten absolutely pathetic, but it was probably inevitable given the combination of authoritarianism, corruption and megalomania that Stern represents, and the personality cult that SEIU has become under his corrupt and anti-democratic regime.

Do the members of the SEIU International Executive Board have the courage to say "ENOUGH!" to this lunatic?

Or are they too cowardly or bought off?

How much more sleaze will they tolerate before they act?

What more are they waiting for? indictments? convictions?
a federal government trusteeship of the whole union?

- An outraged SEIU member.

If there was "nothing improper" about all the self-dealing, then all the SEIU officials and their spouses/partners mentioned in the latest LA Times article should release their tax returns as part of the congressional investigation.
By the way, whatever happened to the congressional investigation?.

Gives a new meaning to "family" business. No wonder SEIU 'leaders' in California were so corrupt at the wheel, look at their role models at HQ!

Wel, this explains why Stern did nothing about Tyrone Freeman's thievery all those years (despite having been told about it by Barton, Philliou, Kieffer and others).
Stern himself and his DC HQ cabal were ripping off the union to the tune of millions!
Anyone want to wager that Stern does not serve out his new four-year term as SEIU fuhrer?
Maybe he serves a term in a federal pen.
Too bad about Alactraz.

At least with the Teamsters, all of the questionable pension fund loans were repaid.

Here, there appears to be no opportunity to reclaim members' monies because it has been spent, not loaned.

That's a shame, I am outraged and this is not even my union.

I fear this is but the tip of the iceberg with SEIU.
