I'll Get Back To You On That, Katie!

Often times, the people that post comments on this blog lead us to stories that greatly expand on our original posts. My thanks to "getting back to you" for sending me to this video of a befuddled and nervous "One Heartbeat Away" Sarah Palin, being interviewed by Katie Couric.

Sarah sure is fumbling and bumbling at the beginning of the interview, she sounded kinda like aahh Valley girl with a midwest accent. Sarah says we are on the road to great depression. (WTF)

I find it ridiculous that we are supposed to trust the same greddy bastards who caused this mess to now miraculously solve the problem they created. And don't ask the treasury secretary for any explanations it to complicated to understand and absolutely don't ask for any federal regulations, accountability or salary limits of CEO salaries, which the taxpayer now pays. The republicans love free-markets unless of course it involves socialism for Wall Street, but hell no we don't wantt the government to socialize health care for the poor.

A few words from Governor Huckabee on the great bailout.

http://www.huckpac.com/?FuseAction=Blogs.View&Blog_id=1899

"Frankly, I’m disappointed and disgusted with my own Republican party as I watch them attempt to strong-arm a bailout of some of America’s biggest corporations by asking the taxpayers to suck up the staggering results of the hubris, greed, and arrogance of those who sought to make a quick buck by throwing the dice. They lost, but want the rest of us to cover their bets so they won’t be effected in their lavish lifestyles as they figure out how to spend their tens of millions and in some cases, hundreds of millions in bonuses and compensation which was their reward for not only sinking their companies, but basically doing the same to the entire American economy."

The Left should have made a better case for Hillary Clinton.

If you did, you would never have heard Palin's name, and the election would have been over by now.

It is crazy to vote for a MUSLIM masquerading as a christian.

Even O'bama slipped and talked about his muslim background, and then said that he meant his supposed christianity.

U.S. cannot afford a muslim president disguised as a christian. don't believe him. Muslim. Do you want him sworn in on a QUERAN? See what happens to the U.S.

A flag-waving rightie.

Obama wasn't grilled about his foreign policy experience- how many foreign leaders he could name- if he was qualified to be President etc etc.

Hillary who carpetbagged into New York on her husband's fame and claimed policy experience by sitting in on her husband's meetings (!!) was handled with kid gloves.

Sarah makes it on her own and is mocked and ridiculed. The difference in how the media treats Palin vs the dems is unbelievable.

Someone commented that Condoleezza Rice smoked out the closet racists and McCain smoked out the ageists. Now Palin has smoked out the sexists. You should all be ashamed.

Someone get that video of Palin with the Witch Doctor from Kenya getting freed. Here's the video from Letterman where he slams McCain for being a whimp. Internet going crazy posting stories of McCain quiting campaign and hiding Palin because he's afraid she'll lose his campaign.

The only blog watching LA politics now is Zuma Dogg, but he can't communicate a coherent thought so the crooks on Spring St. are safe.

The question asked of Palin was a reasonable one. It's something that voters certainly have to be asking themselves.

McCain has been in the Senate for 26 years, so what has he done to deal with the financial problem, or has he, as some have charged, been opposed to any regulations and oversight involving the greedy class?

She wasn't asked to name everything that McCain has done to deal with this problem. She was asked to name ANYTHING.

You would think that the McCain would have given her a few examples off the campaign literature, or from the press releases.

Unless, of course, there aren't any examples to give.

So, Palin says she'll check and get back to CBS.

I haven't heard anything yet. What do you want to bet that we'll never hear anything?

Aren't you either curious to know the answer, because it will keep be asked, or anxious for Palin to keep her promise?

Look, this isn't about Palin not knowing what McCain has done about the financial mess during his 26 years (excessive CEO compensation, short selling, bad lending practices, etc.).

It's about the fact that McCain hasn't done anything, and has repeatedly defended these money hungry Wall Streeters from rules that would make them responsible.

Don't you just know that every interviewer in the world is dying to ask the same question of McCain?

No wonder he has joined bin Laden hiding in cave somewhere.

If McCain just took a shot vitamin B, skipped one of his naps, he could do the debate, and spend time hiding in Washington, letting other people work on the bailout issue, and then taking credit for whatever the result is.

Ah, the McCain-Palin "campaign" . . . How to describe it?

Let's set aside adjectives and go with some nouns:
Meltdown
Freefall
Collapse
Disarray
Confusion

How about 'airhead'?
That's a noun, right?

McCain gambled on Palin and it's clear now that it was a bad bet. Now, he wants to bail out on the debate?
Watch for him to get increasingly erratic and unpredictable.
The dude is trippin' big time!

Who was the decider that Palin could ever handle the Presidency for one hour. She can't even handle Katie Couric. If McCain wins, I hope they can keep him alive like Steve Austin in Six Million Dollar Man, cause I actually do have more confidence in Tina Fey as Sarah Palin as President, than Sarah Palin as President. I'll get back to you on that is going to be the big new catch phrase. As a joke.

I don't see why you people are bagging on Sarah Palin? I think she is adorable. But if there is anyone in the country in need of an "accent reduction" coach, I think we have found that candidate.

Sarah is only adorable to Todd the Dude, and other similar retards.
It's one thing to hang out with kooks who 'talk in tongues' and 'lay hands' on you to protect you from 'witches' in a small vilage in Alaska; but to take that airhead and make her vice president of the US under McCain who is borderline senile, definitely whacko, and not likely to survive a first term?
Now, that's irresponsible!

Hearing Palin talk is like watching an episode of Fargo.

I think, however, that I want more from a potential president than some who is attractive and who can engage world leaders in small talk.

This ain't no Margaret Thatcher.
