Hot air alert:Fabien Nunez is getting his big "adios" at City Council today.
It's ironic that the Mayor mispronounced the word "hyperbole" as he and the others whined about term limits.

Wesson was cute, though -- gave him a bottle of wine to remind him of what he drank before his high life -- 2 buck chuck. The mayor piped in that it should have been Thunderbird. -- If you can't beat 'em, join 'em.
Reyes talked about his glory years staging sit-ins in the street, and relying on Nunez to bail them all out of jail. Alarcon the Zorro Marxist pipes in with more, saying this "organizer" stuff (read: radicalism) is "what democracy is about."
Backhanded compliment to Villaraigosa from Alarcon: Nunez took that radical "organizing...
learning to fight against injustice" one big step further than the Mayor. (NOT being radical enough to get complimented by Marxist Alarcon is a GOOOD thing.)
They still actually think everyone "looks up" to these anti-middle class, anti-"gringo" culture.
Tom LaBonge and Huizar thank Nunez for starting the push "for all these school bonds to help the kids." IS Labonge as dumb as he looks? (Huizar also goes on about how "hunble" Nunez is -- did someone forget to fill him on on the "joke?")
Bill Rosendahl thanks him for pushing for free healthcare for EVERYbody. Of course Rosendahl joins the biggest tax-and-spend/ fleece the "rich" liberals. (How dumb and self-defeating are people in his district for electing him, and not questioning his priorities?)

Here's the link to today's Daily News story on the PLUM Committee/Sober Living Homes Ordinance hearing August 5. The PLUM Committee instructed the Dept. of City Planning to move forward with preparation of a comprehensive City wide Ordinance to regulate both licensed and unlicensed Sober Living Homes and allowed them 6-8 months in which to do so. Councilman Greig Smith's Chief Planning Deputy, Phyllis Winger, asked the Planning Dept. to keep their office informed as to their progress throughout preparation of the Draft Ordinance.
Neighborhood Council representatives and stakeholders who spoke on behalf of the new ordinance August 5 and outlined specific regulations and requirements they wanted to have incorporated in it included: North Hills West, Granada Hills South, Encino and Tarzana along with the Old Granada Hills Residents Group.&
There's no baby though, Edwards says == and the photos of "him" and a baby look more like a doctor or intern in a blue hospital gown with a newborn, obviously fake. so the Times was right not to run the Enquirer story -- but ABC got the national scoop. I doubt Edwards would have given it to a print media first anyway, not even the NYTimes.
He's done as a VP candidate, though -- was he hoping for AG? I'm sure his wife knew, though -- and truth is, with all her chemo and other treatments, she probably didn't want to have sex and maybe accepted the situation.

It's an insult to the citizens of California to have Nunez honored in the City Council Chamber. He is a sleezeoid pimp and should leave the state and go live under that cactus he relates so well to. His is totally disrespected by millions--only the Council thinks they have to honor this lying, dispecable, dishonorable charleton.
That looks like Higby or Hertzberg. If dogs look like their masters, is it true that campaign managers do, too? Or just in this case? I didn't think Higby was a fan of Nunez, though. Hey, no one gave Nunez a cactus with a blanket to sleep on~

Now the news says Elizabeth's known for a couple of years -- the whole time they were campaigning together. So that was her choice. What's sad. is Edwards did it just because she was there, on the campaign trail -- he he had loved her and left his wife for her, it would have been more honest.
The LA politicos claimed Nunez was the most powerful house speaker. If this was true why is it the Nunez and Peralta’s EXTENSION of term limits FAILED?
THis council group is hilarious. There's tons of ridiculous vidoes of them on YouTube. They are the clowns of this city and yesterday just proved it. All they do is pass stupid motions, pat eachother on the back, suppport anything that's for the ILLEGALS, forget about the LEGAL, educated Latinos in this city and make a mockery of the system. They sound uneducated, lack leadership, have no class, don't know how to dress with style with all the money they make, and so on.
Ed Reyes is not only illiterate, he also hires perverts to be on his staff. George Magallanes likes to flash himself at women and talk about what he could do with them.

LA BONG PANDERS TO CAMERA: Mayor Sam's own Althea Shaw was at the Council meeting on Friday where she gave public comment to keep raising awareness over Jamiel's Law.
Afterwards, I noticed the camera shot was covering Althea's side of the bleachers. As soon as it does, here comes Councilmember La Bong to sit down with her and look caring and sympathetic while the TV 35 cameras were rolling.
I heard him saying, "I hear you, I hear you."
Zuma Dogg called his office after the meeting to ask if this means Councilmember Tom LaBong will be voting "Yes" on Zine's S.O. 40 revision motion!
A CLARIFICATION PLEASE COUNCILMEMBER. Cause I don't think anyone cares if you just hear them if you don't vote yes. It's kinda like hearing the "HIKE" signal, but not running the play.
