I am so shocked to hear of Bernie Mac's passing. He was too young and too funny. You made me laugh soooo hard Bernie! You will most definitely be missed. Rest in Peace.

A real shocker -- and he was in the hospital, allegedly fm complications of pneumonia/ breathing- fluid in the lungs. Shows that for all the medical care he could afford, we're all vulnerable.
My teen neighbor loved him, too -- he was a tough-love dad we could watch together and talk about parenting, behavior, family issues, the newer, cooler Bill Cosby. What a shame that the papers are choosing to put his flub at Obama's recent dinner in his obit -- that was 10 mins.!

We all know what that means.
No, we don't know what it means, unless he'd had a sudden weight loss, which he didn't. He had some lung disease that infects the whole body, though his doctors claim that didn't kill him.
How do you know he didn't have any weight loss, 603?

Very few "healthy" adults GET pneumonia, let alone DIE of it.
I don't have to beat around the bush, so to speak, so I'll just spell out what what I think it was: a-i-d-s. Unlike you, I don't declare something to be true if it's just my opinion.
6:13: You're a rumor-monger. If you make claims about AIDS (I got you the first innuendo, but that results in weight loss, sunken cheeks etc.) it's YOUR obligation to prove it, not the other way around.
He made a major appearance a few weeks ago and no one noticed any difference in his appearance -- just about his comments as inappropriate.
WOW Anonymous! Let Bernie rest in peace! It is not important what he died from...the world has lost a hilarious comedian.More importantly this is a very sad time for all those people who were close to him.There is nothing to gain from being hurtful.My condolences to any of his family, friends and fans who are mourning his loss.
Some people can be so stupid. Bernie Mac did not have AIDS!! Can't a black man die peacefully?
