Jim used to do a comedy routine in Santa Monica at a little bar I frequented in the late 50's early 60's. But he would intersperce the comedy with real operatic segments.
Jim has a big operatic baritone voice and used to sing opera before he got the Gomer Pyle gig.
Jim Nabors is still alive!!
