Why Lloyd Levine Wants to Be a State Senator
Lloyd's term as an Assemblyman is coming to a close and he needs a job to keep him in Sacramento.Why?
He's getting married to Sacramento news anchor Edie Lambert. You could have followed their entire courtship from first date to engagement on board Southwest Airlines flight 1455 right here on the blog.
Can't blame him, she's a cutie. And unless he wants to have a long distance relationship from the Valley to the State Capitol or start over on the Bachelor, Lloyd needs to go home to Sacramento.
If Lloyd isn't elected to the State Senate, he does have at least one skill to potentially bank on - he did win the Capital Nose Picking Contest against Republican Assemblyman Cameron Smythe.
Problem is the voters are going to overwhelmingly choose Fran Pavely, for right or wrong. But you never know, love may win in the end.

Why you boys bagging on Edie? None of you have women. At least not ones you get for free. I would definitely say Lloyd and Bob have hotter looking women that Waldman does.
It's also because Lloyd really isn't qualified to do anything else other than be an elected official.

Look, she's no "cutie" like Higby claims, but she and Lloyd seem well suited: gangly, gawky, wonky and "earnest."
Lloyd's main claim to doing good locally is pushing for money that went to the 405/101 interchange, and that's a good thing. He, Pavley and the other Dems all spend too much time coming up with stupid taxes on business and individuals, on everything from beer to plastic bags to gym fees t0-- Pavley -- mandating enviro programs which appeal to the libs but are hated by biz.
Her ethics are questionable, that's for sure. She has reported on his actions as "exclusive" to her station without mentioning that her "exclusivity" came as a result of waking up next to him that morning.
Pathetic. He doesn't have a job now, and she should have been fired, along with her producer, for not mentioning the connection in reporting the story..
If you have proof, post it. She has never covered Levine's politics. So another reporter at her TV station interviewed Levine? Or even got an exclusive? That's called "covering the news". Go out and try to find a news station that will tell you Levine turned down an interview with them in order to give Edies station an exclusive. Didn't happen. Think about it. Their first date was posted on this blog. Obviously she and everyone around her are on guard for conflicts. Sadly, her hard work and integrity hasn't kept idiots like you from making stuff up.
It's one thing to trash the guys running for office, but their wives? Waldmans wife is smart and stunning, from what I can tell. I don't know anything about Bobs wife. Clearly, I happen to know Edie, and she is beautiful inside and out. BTW I'm curious about why you would judge her looks by this video considering she just had her guts turned inside out in a fighter jet.
Nice. She deserved someone coming to her defense. I was scratching my head with the comments about the looks becuase Nicole and Edie are pretty girls, but then I remembered this blog is not about them. Their only offense was falling in love with men who have political enemies.
Who cares about all this. If you're going to fabricate attacks, why not suggest one of them yelled "Whitey" in a church. Or fathered McCain's black "love child". Stop treating the candidate's families like collateral damage. All your targets lost. They go home to their loved ones. Let it be.
I saw her at legislative basketball game. She's a hotteeee.
I knew Edie in her college days and she has always had high expectations for herself regarding work, ethics and friends. This seems to be such a challenge for some men with self esteem issues.
I'm glad she has held tight to her values!
