Steve Jobs Public Comment at Cupertino City Council
Here's an example of a City Council that is actually polite and kind to guests during public comment. Now granted the guest is one of the richest men in the world but it's also refreshing to see how pro-business this Council is especially for the Bay Area!

Think about it a bit Higby. If you were (and not that you ever will be) a City Council member who would you rather listen to? The guy who invented the Mac, Toy Story and the iPhone or Homeless Dave who invented begging in front of Starbucks for coffee?
Homeless Dave (who some of you clowns know as "Zuma Dogg") has already dropped off the radar. His "blog" which is mainly copy and paste of other blogs has been removed from the list.

I wonder how this Council would have reacted to Home Depot wanting to put their noisy, trashy store in the same area? I imagine the smiles and congrats would quickly disappear.

Do they sell Macs at Home Depot?

Yes, I see a striking resemblance between Jobs and Zuma Dogg, Matt Dowd and Mike H and the yammering ladies of Van Nuys. They're all civil to the Council and of course, whatever they have to say is clearly colored by their own worldly experience and contributions to the community.
The only difference would be, that Jobs probably doesn't have time to go bug the Council almost every single day.

I'm more surprised at how empty the hall appears to be.
Worth noting: This video is almost 2 years old.
