Whoa Edward.. I got 53 seconds into it and thought, "Is there anyone there besides a bunch of old white guys?" Then I saw a few blue haired old women.
Is this normal for a Press Club event?
I ask this seriously. I'm not a hater. I've met you and I like you. I am white. I'm just wondering.
Can Ed find anything more boring than this?

How come it was Ron Kaye and Roderick who carried Stanton's argument with Walter Moore? Cuz Moore came off as a simpleton who didn't understand how a paper is put together? The Times may well be biased and some writers are, but it's not a monolith and just calling Stanton names was childish.

Hehe ... Yes, we have more than just "old white guys" and "blue haired old women" and it tends to vary by subject and speaker(s). I'll have to check it out but the footage in the beginning are the folks who arrived early for the reception.
It might be a snoozefest for some but interesting for others--especially for journalists. FYI - He'll be speaking at Zocala LA on May 8th if you're interested. It's a free event open to the public.
