Speaking of which for fun, here's the latest thrilling content from the Westside White Guy:

David Rensin, awaiting the spring release of his book on surfer Miki Dora, reveals his fascination with people who are born on his birthday. He turned 58 yesterday and isn't shy about sharing his fantasies for getting to know some of his fellow January 28ians.

Erika Schickel, who is newly co-blogging with Neal Pollack at Moli.com, finds solace on these rainy days in the hot turkey sandwich at Pepy's Galley in the Mar Vista Bowl. She writes, "I tell you, this is quintessential diner food at its best." Go there.

And they say Westsiders aren't self indulgent!

From town to town, depending on the agenda, the vote will include illegals, convicted felons (in states where they're not allowed to vote), scare tactics against African Americans, scare tactics against felons (in states where they are allowed to vote), double voters, people who live elsewhere voting in their own and their snowbird state (Florida for example), bags of ballots disappearing into thin air, the whole ball of wax. The republicans and democrats are guilty of it; election fraud and it needs some serious scrutiny.
