How about anything Zuma Dogg did this year? That would take up three lists.

Home Depot's amateur and failed efforts in Sunland-Tujunga, combined with their $10 million crybaby lawsuit have to be the dumbest move of 2007!

11:43,
You obviously have never read my book. Look how you have handed ZD the opponent he needed to elevate his status here on this blog.
You are like a bully who keeps getting beat up, instead of walking away with the milk money. And then the person you were picking on ends up being the new pinball wizard.
People see your weak-ass, thinly veiled, propaganda fluff...with never a shred of substance to your attack,
and it says to people, "WOW, ZD must be right." All the bully did was name call and make empty comments. No where does it say he was wrong on the issue, or incorrect with the info presented.
I guess "Proposition S Going Down" hasn't already brought awareness to VOTING NO ON PROP S!?!?
IMAGINE HALF HOUR TV SHOWS ON TIME WARNER!

Okay lets then talk about where Homeless Dave was wrong
He was wrong on Prop R
He was wrong on the Mayor dating the Korean lady
He was wrong on Michael Hunt dressing like a Klannsmen
He was wrong to wear a mask in a pubic building
He was wrong on affordable housing
He was wrong on Grand Avenue
So Dave shall I continue? As you have told the readers you don't know anything you just parrot what Higby or other people tell you to say.
Now make my holiday bright and blow off for some time.
Anonymous said:
I am sure noone will say Homeless Dave is right.
Zuma Dogg said:
Dude, now you're REALLY slippin'...
He was wrong on Prop R
(I wasn't WRONG...I was AGAINST.)
He was wrong on the Mayor dating the Korean lady (Excuse me...I actually CALLED INTO RADIO ON -- when all the talk show hosts were naming names...to say NO OTHER NAMES WOULD COME OUT. The mayor's office even thanked me in appreciation over it! HOWEVER...when names were being bantied about, I provided some info as to the mayoral connection. Meanwhile, I'm not even sure exactly who you mean, cause you didn't give her name...but I think I know who you mean...I don't think the mayor wants THAT name coming up. (The only thing more embarassing than his PERSONAL relataions are his professional ones.)
He was wrong on Michael Hunt dressing like a Klannsmen
(How could I POSSIBLY be wrong about something SOMEONE ELSE does??? By the way, I said I was against his wearing of the attire. Is that was I was wrong about?)
He was wrong to wear a mask in a pubic building (No, when I wore the Gene Simmons mask, I was RIGHT. City Attorney told me so, in person. AGAIN...THE GENE SIMMONS MASK IS "IN". Ask Rocky Delgadilldo.)
He was wrong on affordable housing
(Kinda vauge. Wrong on affordable housing? Can you be more specific.
I say the city is in violation of the affordable housing policy. And uses affordable housing in a very profitable way. "He was wrong on affordable housing" is too vauge, anyway...but even people at City Hall admit the affordable housing policy needs work. (Hello, LA Housing Authority...DA investigation...Garcetti addressed the issue on camera on TV 35...But I'm "wrong on affordable housing.")
He was wrong on Grand Avenue
(O.K. Now I KNOW you are just a clown. Again...still way to vauge to score any kind of point in anyone's mind...why don't you tell me what I was wrong about?)
Bro, weakest post ever...maybe you better go back to all filler. I gave you way too much credit in the past during previous conversations.
VERY UNIMPRESSED...and it appears by the media attention and amount of phone calls and emails i have gotten this past year...so is eveyone else.
MAN...remember the good old days when you were a big shot on this blog. When people cared what you had to say about actual issues.
Now you're just relegated to commenting on ZD. How the mighty have tumbled.
And all I wanna do is try and throw it all away and get back to life.
Wanna trade? Oops, my bad...you can't hold my mouse pad.
Zuma Dogg said:
Is there ANYONE reading this who doesn't know who 12:34/12:35 is?
Not that this is the ONLY person who posts anti-zd comments; but it's certainly the dumbest, weakest and most jealous crybaby out of the team.
DUDE...you are like the "emperor's new clothes"...everyone sees through you. you a priceless...but you don't even know why.
You must live under such despair. I don't know why. I mean, with me, it's my sucky financial and living circumstances. What's YOUR excuse?

When thinking of "Tem Dumbest Moves of 2007" Jim Alger's "Do It Center" hair brain scheme where he wanted money to get kicked back to his NC congress coffers. And of course getting kicked off NC altogether for other "Dumb Move" reasons.
So although the world will carry on without missing a beat, or anyone really noticing for that matter, the demise of Jim Alger on this blog and on NC has to be on of the "Ten Dumbest Moves".

"Is there ANYONE reading this who doesn't know who 12:34/12:35 is?"
I dont know who he is but he really turns me off. He never is positive in anything other than to defend the mexican mafia and the midget mayor. fess up.. who is it?

7:43,
Waaaaaaaaay off base. In 12:34/12:35's case, they have nothing to do with the mayor or any of that.
Wouldn't be surprised if 12:34/12:35 didn't post 7:43, them self as a diversion.
But if you are sincere 7:43 in your guess, I would have to say I think you are getting colder.

People in the know have the answer - the person fighting Zuma Dogg on the blog is:
ZUMA DOGG
He gets attention for himself by posting a fake debate with himself.
Playing with himself comes natural for the mutt. He also licks his own balls.

Why did Zine dress like that? Is he gay or was he making fun of gays?

HE ALWAYS SEEMS TO BE IN A STATE OF CHEERFUL STUPIDITY - DENSELY IMPENETRABLE.

I assure you I do not create debate with myself by posting anti-things against me. That's a certain someone else's motus operendi (post arguments with yourself to appear people care) -- and HE isn't going to be citizen of the year this now that he has been humiliated out of the blogsphere. (Besides anonymous letters to citywatch and other editors...LOL!)
more to come maybe...depends on how you choose to spend your time today.

City Attorney Works Legal Loophole, DZ today
Rocky's got several legal defense funds going, getting money from those with business with him and the city, one fund just to cover possible litigation involving his wife's driving and use of city employees for babysitting.
What gets me is, didn't the guy ever look into his own glove compartment for the insurance check in case he got pulled over? Guess not, just left it to the wife and gallantly blamed her for driving without for a year.
On top of that if he hadn't made such a big stink about Paris Hilton for political gain, all this may have continued to go unnoticed. Memo to pols: if the wife is driving without a license or insurance and has an outstanding warrant for her arrest, shut up.
Of course, it is hard to read and post anything here when Sam and his mates insist that the idiot of the blog is really its idiot savant oracle. Zuma and his motley mates even manage to trump "cheerfully idiotic" Rocky any day.

SMARTEST MOVES OF THE YEAR
1. Jill Stewart kicking sand in all the other journo's faces when she hired our boy ZD.
2. Hunt producing the 'costume of the year in City Hall'.
3. Barack conceding ALL HIS SUPPORT to Hillary. (oh, he didn't do that yet?)
4. anyone who changed tungsten bulbs to CFL.
5. anyone who conserved water in a meaningful way.
6. anyone who deliberately paid more for organic and/or put back something from China.
7. Zuma Dogg recharging the batteries for another big run.
8. Matt Dowd hiring us, a complete team of spinners ready to take on any issue in the City.
9. Mayor Sam when he lets JM put up the pictures on the blog.
and #10 smartest move in 2007:
paying Gloria Jeff quickly so she don't become another Tennie Pierce or Michael Hunt. (multi million dollar discrimination lawsuit)

That's something to be proud of. Zuma Dogg will not be a complete loser as long as Matt Dowd is around to one up him in that category.

Media City desk peaks and valleys...
Smartest: Daily News hiring Judi Erickson as City Ed.
Smartest: Jon Regardie's constant tapping and juggling of new talent as people grow at the Downtown News, sometimes to go elsewhere.
Smartest: Times hiring Tony Pierce.
Dumbest: Times pissing off Matt Welch and bringing in yet another retirement-ready ed to the editorial pages.
Dumbest: Daily News shipping more content to Daily Breeze in sharing arrangement, rather than vice versa.
Dumbest: Old guard ad agencies holding onto print accounts over blogosphere accounts because there's so much more markup on print ad production and placement. Dudes in suits, watch what the spirits biz is doing without you, and get a clue.

Zuma, this is 9:48. What diversion are you talking about? Why is it that anyone who posts something that calls you on your own stupid moves, you have to accuse them of some scheme? Just own it, dude, you video taped it, you posted it. You didn't have to do either, yet you chose to.

Thank you Joseph for adding something meaningful to this thread. Yes, most people are checked out for the holiday but is it possible to discuss something other than "Zuma Dogg vs. The Midget Mayor?"

You are out of the loop on this one, or just throwing more diversion. This is about WHO was posting...not about what. But it's over anyway. Post on, loser. And make sure you look up the definition of threat, dude, and propaganda spin (stretching true, taking things out of context, and attaching a little lie to it all).
YOU OWN THAT, DUDE!

You have no affiliation with the mayor's hit squad...and I know this.

915 good point. The only Council people I can say who most folks don't find absolute fools are probably Bill, Wendy and maybe Eric. I think most of the rest are viewed as clowns (LaBonge, Perry, Hahn, Bernie, Zine), incompetents (Reyes, Grieg, Wesson), or crooks (Alarcon, Cardenas, Huizar, Weiss).

The best moves of the year is Garcetti and Laura Chick campaigning in Los Angeles for Obama. LATINOS FOR OBAMA. Funny Antonio hasn't brought Hillary over to the Eastside. If she is courting the Latino vote you should ask yourself why not? Because the Eastside does not like our Mayor and word all over the district is he and Hillary will be booed to kingdom come if he ever thinks of taking her to the latinos on that side of the city. BOBOOOOOOOOOOOOO. The women will yell in Spanish "where's your girlfriend and shame on you for dumping and hurting his family for a piece of ass. They don't like HIllary cause she never made a comment about the affair. WEAK

I think the best thing anyone can do is ignore that one poster (I for one, have no idea who it is, nor do I care) who continually responds to everything with a ZD-bashing response.
ZD hater isn't funny, isn't that smart and is boring beyond belief. He/she is a lonely soul who takes joy in sitting at the computer waiting for some reason to jump Zuma Dogg.
Face it. Half of us hate him and half of us love him. Nothing Hater can post is going to change either side. So you give Mayor Sam traffic and we have to scroll past you.
Give it up. Get a job. Go to another blog. Anything.
I agree with Matt Dowd's spin team on one of the BEST moves of the year. Jill Stewart's MOST EXCELLENT foresight and brains to see what value ZD has. Love him or hate him, she made a great decision.

Now the illegals are ruining the meal program that is meant for poor deserving kids. why isn't anyone speaking out against this???
School lunch system found open to fraud...By Naush Boghossian
...While the $8.2 billion national school lunch program is designed to provide meals to needy students, the system is fraught with loopholes that leave it open to rampant fraud.
A recent government report said verification remains a problem in the program that provides about 6.6 billion meals to kids each year at a cost of about $10.2 billion.
To participate in the program, parents complete applications listing their income. Random verification checks are performed, but from 2005 to 2006, the study found slightly more than one student in five students who applied and got served was actually ineligible - at a cost of $935 million..."Several data sources suggest that a significant number of ineligible children (THEY SHOULD SAY ILLEGAL) are receiving free or reduced-price meals," the auditors wrote

There, we all took a hit. And to BD, stop trying to get mayor sam and me to think someone else is posting. we know it is you. so why bother. all you will do is end up pissing me off and it will all backfire.
(remember sun tzu: see "doing PR battle with someone with nothing to lose." I'M the one with nothing to lose...why would you want to get into a pissing contest with two people who have nothing to lose.)
do i have to call antonio personally over this? you'll know if i do, cause you WILL hear about it. (Not from me though.) TRY IT OUT AND SEE!!!

Let me seek some advice from Zuma Dogg or anyone else.
If you're a blogger who some of your readers tell you that you are a fat loser, should you even attempt to step up and tell a cute girl that you know and have spent time that you like her? Or should you just forget it?
Anonymous said:
Mayor Sam,
I would base it on how fat your wallet is, not how fat you are. Fat wallet over-rides anything/everything else.
Anonymous said:
Sam, your readers tell you you're a loser because you actually say zuma is an idiot savant, not just an idiot and public embarrassment to L A.
And because you only bash the Mayor for the same old stuff. So you come off as fat AND not all that smart.
Don't know what your idea of "cute" is, it might be a 3 for someone else.
Which makes sense, start reasonably. And don't jump on her case and scare her off -- approach with humor or something in common. You'll soon feel if there's any chemistry or not.
Good luck -- Dr. Phil

You're giving Mayor Sam bad advice.
If you come on too strong to a pretty girl, she'll have no choice but to be back at ya, otherwise, she might warm up to the idea.
Me, I was sitting in my dorm common room one day when a skinny guy I never noticed in my physics class sidled up to me, sat down, and said: "I don't know how to do this but get it out, so I made up my mind to just out and tell you, if you don't go out with me and I think you're the prettiest girl in the world, I'll kill myself."
I looked at him for a moment, and said -- "you know, I wouldn't want to drive anyone to suicide, but you gotta do what you gotta do."
I never saw him again.
If he'd offered to help me with my physics problems instead...(Maybe also with a good bottle of wine...?)

Sam, you're actually asking zuma for advice on how to get a cute girl? For once he did something sensible and didn't respond to that, just talking more about his self-promoting stuff.
But it does seem Dr. Phil, 7:22 and Valley Doll (some or all are ladies) have the most sensible advice on this.
Don't know how much success Mr. Hoff himself has had with the ladies except maybe ending up downing those bottles of wine himself. (Although he's now presumably married and out of the market, lucky for him.)

Jack, if Sam has a screw loose... at least he has only one screw loose. I've noticed that you, Jack Hoff, either have all your screws loose, or are missing them entirely - including missing circuit boards, wires, cables, and so forth.
At least Sam has the wherewithal to ask for advice from one and all.

Oh, sorry, I thought the Mayor had said he already knew her and had spent time with her...
Seize the moment, Mayor Sam, you're an adult now, college dorm life is long gone -- slow and steady will make you her best friend. Do you really want to sit through all her stories about dating for the next year? She already knows you and apparently likes you, so step up. Why overthink it?
btw, 12:57a ain't me -- I respect MS too much to be so obtuse and Zuma (for the most part) is okay by me. Feel free to delete it.
10:47, yes, I'm extremely happily married, self-employed, have two little kids and my beautiful wife is 20 years younger than me. Took a while to get to this stage, but there is joy in the journey...

How does zuma sign up for those free lunches?
Hiding beneath a hat and sunglasses, he might pass for a mentally challenged high school student. There are plenty of them around.
Or what about a job as a cafeteria worker? Then he could work only four hours a day, get health benefits and free lunches. (They'd have to fumigate him and the hat first.)
Jack Hoff, college kids know more about hooking up than you ever did even if it took you until middle age to find a cute Latina 20 years younger, who wanted to get "set" with a flabby white guy.
Hey, Sam, there's the ticket: I've known lots of older or heavier guys who've hooked up with cute Latinas who need a green card or resident status. Of course, after they get their citizenship, who knows...that gives you plenty of time to shape up, though.
Anonymous said:
2:01, you are absolutely right. Everybody knows that college kids know everything about everything.
Of course, once they get out of college, it's a slightly different story, but, hey, enjoy the ride while you're on it....
