The Zuma live show is working better than last night. I like the new technology Zuma brings. I'm not sure about the Journey "Don't Stop Believing" sing along though. It was a "WTF" moment. I don't do drugs ...so it was hard to understand.

Not sure if it will keep looping the program ... or what.

Breaking news!

"Many men in HOllywood are shosrter than their ladies!" Tom Cruise has been shorter than all his wives, and is in fact, shorter than everyone.

Except Danny DeVito.

Who else is short?

Zuma Dogg looks kind of short.

But he doesn't have a leading lady.

Unlike you count Matt Dowd or the three other fans here who act like he just discovered grainy, hard on the ear video.

I am practically falling off my chair from laughing so hard, as I watch Zumma. I am NOT laughing because Zumma’s skit is funny, but I am laughing at the thought of the blog reader who seems to be obsessed with Zumma and continually rants and complains about Zumma.

I guess to some people Zumma is like a freeway accident, you should just drive by, but you just have to stop and look.

To Zumma,
You need to correct the low volume level, and the audio quality is very poor.

Unfortunately when private industry does business with any government entity they smell extra money. I have worked on large construction projects and it never fails that the contractors doing business with the government love to rip them off. Most large construction companies doing business with any city initially bids the job low, knowing they are going to be find ways to charge the city extra money as they are doing the job . The city still need lots of over sight and management for any service they want to privatize or farm out. If you hire a company to paint just one school room, I guarantee you that most painting contractors who have any experience will find many things wrong after they bid the job and start the work.

The aerospace industry and defense contractors are infamous for ripping off the federal government.

BEWARE!

World Financial Group aka World Financial Services misrepresents its products in illegal pyramid schemes

I was recently approached by an MD which right away wanted to recruit me as well my roomate. We were scheduled out to there meetings and we had a one on one interview where we were asked to be part of the team.

The whole scheme is to find as many recruits as possible and then form a so called team. They speak of helping out families, not true. I luckily did some investigating for myself before i went in to deep. To my surprise i found what i was looking for. Too good to be true. Please be aware.

World Financial Group is the name. Once again they prey upon people's gullibility.

BEWARE!

WORLD FINANCIAL SERVICES- THIS IS A SCAM!! NEEDS 2 BE REVEALED ALL ON THE NEWS!!

A Warning for New Grads and Others New to the Financial Services Industry

World Financial Group (WFG) Scam
Jul 25th, 2007 by Scam

The World Financial Group is a multi level marketing (MLM) scheme. A great many upset people across the internet say they go further than that though and are, in fact, an illegal pyramid scheme in which new members are recruited to line the pockets of the recruiters.

As a company, World Financial Group offers various financial products, including annuities, mutual funds and variable life insurance. Typically they pitch their products at the middle classes.

World Financial Group has to abide by guidelines set out by the National Association of Securities Dealers (NASD). To date they have been fined many times and have had various other penalties imposed by the NASD for multiple reasons including misrepresentation and misconduct. Unbelievably, the NASD still allows the WFG scam to continue despite the vast number of issues surrounding the company.

If you have the time then search the internet for further information of the World Financial Group and it’s misdeeds - you will find many reports about how they deliberately hide negative information about themselves and their products and how they have been caught lying.

In fact, it seems quite common for agents to lie and misrepresent their achievements, experience and qualifications in order to gain a customer’s trust in order to close the sale.

Another element to the WFG scam is for senior members to lie about their incomes in order to entice new recruits. Obviously the more appealing they make WFG sound, the more recruits they attract and the more money they make off the back of them.

Considering World Financial Group’s track record I would advise people to steer well clear of their products and services. If you are approached to become an agent then definitely decline as it is a total SCAM. What’s more, engaging in a pyramid scheme is illegal.

Is There a World Financial Services/World Financial Group Scam?

World Financial Group/World Financial Services offers variable life insurance, annuities, mutual funds, and other financial products. World Financial Group has incurred penalties and fines from the National Association of Securities Dealers, or NASD, for misrepresentation and misconduct.

The WFG/WFS uses multi level marketing, sometimes referred to as the “pyramid scheme”, which requires participants to recruit new members and pay their superiors a percentage of the sales they make. Critics claim that the business practices of this company amount to a MLM scam.

Some former WFG/WFS employees claim that Agents are encouraged to lie to prospective customers about their qualifications and experience. Others allege that the company has illegally and intentionally failed to report up to 900 complaints of misrepresentation from its customers. Additionally, the quality of their goods and services is very much up for debate.

There are lots of red flags concerning the World Financial Group/World Financial Services. We recommend avoiding them altogether.

Lots of haters in here.

What's funny is that after 10 years of web development, which include streaming from the OSCARS® red carpet and live streaming coverage of the Golden Globes, the Zuma Dogg video stream was one of the most entertaining that I've seen.

He's actually quite cogent on the issues and is a much better public speaker than he is a writer. He has on-air presence despite the scruffy beard, locs and beanie.

The various backgrounds are appropriately themed. Audio sync is good, audio quality is ok. But this was a very commendable broadcast.

Many people can yammer about how easy it is. But realistically live streaming for the masses is a very new thing. There are a number of scripts and programs that facilitate this need. But operator11 has fused social networking with video blogging.

Nice Job Zuma. Now go shave!

This is cheating/c. fraud on a number of levels:

You've cut out the dual-headed zuma for these graphics, but kept the same comments (odd), and DO YOU HAVE CITY PERMISSIION TO USE THE LAUSD LOGO?

And you're complaining about the illegal stands selling stuff from China and India, without copyrights?

This is both a legal matter, and a matter of misrepresenting yourself as a spokesperson for the school system, when you sure are not.

Even an LAUSD Board member can't use this logo without permission!

Never for personal publicity! Your stealing Ch. 35 airtime for so long has clearly gone to your head.

.....Home Depot hired Alatorre and former Assemblyman Mike Roos in recent days, said company spokesman Damian Jones
(ALATORRE IS VILLARAIGOSA'S CONSULTANT AND CONVICTED COKE HEAD) LET'S SEE HOW THESE MORONS VOTE TODAY.

Even as the council met Tuesday, Home Depot lobbyists occupied a room behind the chamber normally devoted to closed-session meetings, asking council members to come in and hear their arguments. Perry kicked them out, but only after they had made their case to Councilman Bill Rosendahl.

That kind of access has been eye-opening for Home Depot opponents like Abby Diamond, an organizer with the Sunland-Tujunga Alliance. "We definitely feel like there's a big machine at work that we can't possibly compete with in influence and dollars," she said.

Countrywide Plunges on Downgrade, Bankruptcy Fear
Thu Aug 16, 2007 6:01 AM BST
By Jonathan Stempel

NEW YORK (Reuters) - Countrywide Financial Corp. (CFC.N: Quote, Profile , Research) shares sank 13 percent, their biggest one-day decline since the 1987 stock market crash, on fears the largest U.S. mortgage lender could face bankruptcy as liquidity worsens.

"If enough financial pressure is placed on Countrywide or if the market loses confidence in its ability to function properly, then the model can break, leading to an effective insolvency," Merrill Lynch & Co. analyst Kenneth Bruce wrote. "If liquidations occur in a weak market, then it is possible for Countrywide to go bankrupt."

Countrywide debt prices fell and the perceived risk of owning its bonds rose, suggesting less confidence that the Calabasas, California-based company can pay its bills and fund operations.

This helped drag down U.S. stocks [nN15285446], as investors bought safe U.S. government debt [nN15600290] to escape clouds enveloping the U.S. mortgage industry.

Bruce downgraded Countrywide to "sell" from "buy" on Wednesday. "The company can survive a period of secondary market instability; however, the steps that it would take to preserve shareholder value would be expensive, likely leading to further share price declines," he said.

Shares of Countrywide closed down $3.17 at $21.29 on the New York Stock Exchange. They have fallen 50 percent this year, and the company's market capitalization has dropped to about $12.3 billion. Countrywide did not immediately return requests for comment on Wednesday's share price decline.

Bruce's downgrade suggests deepening problems at Countrywide, which has in the last month tried to assure investors it would thrive once the credit crunch afflicting U.S. mortgage lenders passed. Continued...
