Mayor Sam's Hotsheet for Tuesday

The first annual Mayor Sam Memorial Day Barbecue was a huge success with notables in attendance such as publicist extraordinarie Edward Headington, school board candidate/king maker Louis Pugliese (he looks much better in person than in his campaign photo), ST NoHo blogger "Video" Louis Elovitz, LAX activist Robert Acherman, retired Judge Arnold Gold, Universal City-North Hollywood Jaycees President Jack Witt and of course the fabulous Joseph Mailander of Mainbrace and Mayor Sam fame - as well as spouses, significant others, children and friends. Zuma and Walter you were both very much missed.

With respect to the above, thanks to the able bartending of Louis Pugliese's main squeeze Debi, this old dead Republican mayor is not in the condition to blog too much, so, read away dum dums.

Newly re-minted Councilman Richard Alarcon has an ambitious economic development plan for the Northeast San Fernando Valley. He dismisses his opponents' views of him as "anti-business" as "racial" and states that he is both pro-Wal-Mart and anti-war. (Don't tell Joe B.)

Westside White Guy reports that Patrick McGreevy is leaving his LA Times beat at City Hall to go to the state capitol. Good riddance. I never liked him going back to his days at the Daily News when he published whatever press release the NIMBYs gave him and he never bothered to seek out alternative views.

Zuma Dogg's "Summer Jamz" are over at LAist.

Maybe the big ZD will do a separate thread on this, but Kevin James first show on KRLA was great! He gave big kudos to the Mayor Sam blog, said he read the comments about him, and also mentioned the online petition and Zuma. Best of all, he said he will be going right at Villaraigosa, LAUSD, and of course the illegal alien invasion.

HE'S BAAACKKK

McGeevy is going to get you; you're right, don't blog when blotto.

P.S. No one ever liked him. Be happy he's on a rail out of town.

YES -- KEVIN JAMES IS BAAAAACK!!!

What was so great about his first show last night at 9pm on 790 KRLA, it sounded JUST like the old days, all those seven weeks ago.

So same Kevin James show, better time slot. 9pm, Y'ALL!!! (Sorry mayor.)

And yeah, on my next thread I am gonna cover Kevin's show again after my public comment at City Hall. I have a reality crew picking me up, so I don't have to take the bus.

See all of y'all at 10am. Then, I'll do a thread update, and maaaaaaan, was that sweet when Kevin thanked Mayor Sam's blog and said, "Hello" to Mayor Sam and Zuma Dogg -- IN THE FIRST 10 MINUTES OF HIS FIRST SHOW Y'ALL, yeah, yeah.

But Mayor Sam's blog don't matter, y'all

The first Mayor Sam BBQ and I missed out. I will add my kudos on Kevin James first show on KRLA. KRLA needed to find the right local host to follow in the foot steps of George Putlum and Ray Breim. they made the right choice.

I hope Zuma goes after clowncil on giving $150,000 to that criminal Mario Corona who was arrested and sentenced to 32 months on Friday for possession of 1 pound of meth. Yes, he was director of anti grang program called Communities in Schools. How many of these so called gang programs is it now that the media has proven to be corrupt and run by gang bangers yet city council is still giving them money???

Los Angeles mayor to endorse Clinton's presidential bid
From the Associated Press
1:06 PM PDT, May 29, 2007
.....Democrat Hillary Rodham Clinton has won the endorsement of Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa, a rising star in national Democratic politics and one of the nation's top Hispanic elected officials.

I think there will a lot of Latinos this time around not voting for Clinton because of Antonio. Just goes to show how out of the loop Hillary is when it comes to our midget mayor. Richardson will take a lot of the Latino vote and Barak will reap. Antonio hasn't done a damn thing for this city yet he thinks Hillary will do something for him. NOT! When the nat'l media start reporting his baggage we'll sit back and see how people across the nation will vote. Someone should have told Ace Smith Antonio is in trouble being campaign chair for Weiss Ass now that he's being recalled.

Looks like quite a few of us missed out on the barbecue. Lessee who missed out... Antonio watch, Walter Moore, Red Spot, myself, and perhaps Zuma and Captain Sparrow.

Sam! What happened to the invitations? Don't tell us they either got lost in the email postal service, or the snail mail service... or maybe you had a "small nip" when you were inviting, got blotto early and forgot?

Why isn't the media reporting on this?

EXTRA EXTRA EXTRA EXTRA
Wake up people and start sending e-mails. The US Govt wants to give US postal carriers jobs to illegals who will make min. wage $8 an hour and get rid of all veterans working at post offices across the nation. These people will have access to your new credit cards, tax refund checks, social security checks, bank statements, bills etc. with all yor information on them. Illegals are known for idenity theft using false social security cards to get a job. We need to stop this bullshit. Send e-mails to your senators. You think terrorism is not alive and well in LA, then guess again.

HARKIN INTRODUCES SENATE BILL TO OUTLAW CONTRACTING OUT:
Sen. Tom Harkin (D-IA) on May 23 introduced in the U. S. Senate legislation to protect city and rural letter carriers from having their work contracted out by the U.S. Postal Service to private firms and individuals. The bill, S. 1457, is titled the “Mail Delivery Protection Act of
2007” and would forbid the Postal Service from entering into any contract “with any motor carrier or other person for the delivery of mail on any route with 1 or more families per mile

Drunk or sober, I had more trouble with Steve than Patrick, but at least I see Steve is giving props to blogdowntown with some regularity these days.

I think all print scribes should send some occasional love to the blogs they most dependably steal from, rather than maintain their standoffish opposition, which just loses them readers anyway.

John Mack has to be the worst appointment Antonio made to the police commission. He not only has protested many times against LAPD but hosted a fundraiser for twice convicted felon Martin Ludlow. Today he's asking LAPD why the dispersal order wasn't in Spanish. The question should be WHY DON'T THOSE ILLEGALS SPEAK ENGLISH. Mack continues to show his racist attitude. Officers can't stand him. Let's see which moron council members who support illegals speak out when LAPD gives their presentation on MacArthur Park tomorrow. I hope Zuma is there to tell everyone about all the corruption he has found out about them like Greuesome and her developers, Sleazy Huizy and his developers and having paid staffers on NC's, Weiss and his recall, Reyes and his womanizing and dumb idea for LA River, Alarcon and his dumb ass ideas for valley, Hahn caring more about Reggie then her constituents, Cardenas and his brother Ernesto now getting $100,000 for being a commissioner and Cardenas not wanting to audit gang programs, then Bitter Bernie I'm sure will chime in. He has enough baggage for everyone.

Touche! Will the clowncil members be with Antonio in Westwood to endorse Hillary tomorrow? Everyone should e-mail Clinton to tell her the truth of what they think of our illegal loving, gang banging, cholo mayor. I thought she was about morals and family.
