I personally am not saying they are unpopular - just agendized, niche, corrupt politicians. Laugh now. The heat is coming down, y'all...(And no, not MY heat.)
Here's what bothers me: Although Nunez is part of the latino community (as a citizen) -- he represents the State, as a whole, (as an elected official -- and especially as Speaker of the State Assembly.)
Now it is perfectly fine, as a politician, to address niches of the overall state community. For example to discuss the impact and agenda of the latino community.
But when you are at an event, as state official -- please say, "your community", or "the latino community" -- not "our community": Because "OUR" community is "ALL" communities. Unless you subscribe to some other form of democracy. DO YOU?
