VOTER ALERT: Registrar's Office Not Receiving U.S Mail (As In Voter Registration Forms & Ballots)

Thanks for the tip from a ZD viewer regarding problems with the County Registrar's Office not receiving mail from the U.S. Post Office.

I was on the phone with the County Registrar's Office in Norwalk, last Thursday, and was told personally by the clerk that there has been a problem receiving mail from the U.S. Post Office (as in voter registration forms).

Also, problems with people not receiving mail sent from the Registrar's Office to constituents.

I wonder how many thousands (if not hundreds of thousands) of people will be showing up at the polls thinking they are registered to vote, only to find out they are not, and their vote won't be counted.

This pertains to voter registration forms, sent in by the Oct. 8th deadline, that are "lost". And, if there is still a "problem", who knows how many absentee ballots may be lost in the mail, never to be found or counted. I'M DISENFRANCHISED, Y'ALL!!!

More on this to come, I'm sure.

We are all disenfranchised if this is allowed to "silently" continue. Where is the mainstream media on this kind of debacle? Why isn't this headlines and main story in the local news (TV, radio, etc.). There is talk of a low turnout; of course the tunrout will be low with registrations as well as ballots being "lost" at the post office? Where are the screaming conspiracy theorists on this? Or don't they know about this either.

Zuma Dogg,

Where is your evidence?

You were "on the phone" with the Registrar? I've been "on the phone" with them too - and it is a recorded message.

What was the nature of your call? What sort of problem (if there even was one) did you find out about?

Because I have not received my absentee ballot and after reading this post, I called the registrar's office. There is a recording for everything, but I outwaited them. I did not press any numbers and waited for the message about "rotary phones and stay on the line". I got a live person, who indicated the lost mail was FALSE INFORMATION! I asked several questions and read to the clerk what was on the website. She insist that it is false information. I don't know if she was told to say that or not. The clerk is going to mail me another ballot.

Thanks for the invitation to discuss, but I prefer to remain somewhat anonymous. I only stated what the Clerk conveyed to me. I contacted a friend who lives in another precinct, who is a PAV as I am and had not received her ballot. She was told a different story.
Therefore, I stand corrected, SOMETHING IS AMISS, at the Registrar's office.

Shit! I mailed in for my absentee ballot too!

Maybe someone can go and find out who is in charge of receiving our little absentee cards, and who is responsible for sending out our ballots. They might be able to tell us what sort of bullshit election rigging might be going on.

Email me if you'd like to go to Norwalk for the day and find out what is going on. I will pledge $40 to anyone willing to do it.

Sounds like somebody is afraid of losing an election or more likely their office if R passes.

My advice, show up to the poll near your house and vote with a provisional ballot. Show ID and have the precinct warden verify that this is in fact you.

But whatever you do, GO VOTE!
