Six Month Anniversary of ZD at City Hall, y'all...

Time flies when your bitter and miserable. It was only six months ago today (04/04/06), since my first time showing up at City Hall to protest the ban on incense, sage, handmade art items and ESPECIALLY a ban on Zuma Dogg shirts.

And now look what happened! Just scroll down and read all the stories I've posted on Mayor Sam's blog (see recent archives, too), plus if you haven't yet, go to www.ZumaDogg.com and click the "myspace video" link to re-live the bittersweet memories (actually just bitter) from the past six months at City Hall.

Thanks to all the people I have met in person, on the phone and by email over these past few months. And big upps to Mr. KABC of 790 KABC Radio (10p-1a), and Doug McIntyre, Larry Elder, Kevin James, Leo Terrell and Mark Isler. (I don't think any radio station has ever had such a killer line-up on one station!)

And watch the six month anniversary "Public Comment" (if Eric doesn't figure out a way to prevent it) Wed the 6th at 10am/730pm/12mid and LIVE on the net (10am only). Link to the 10am meeting at www.ZumaDogg.com (Need Real Player)

Hooooooooooody Hooooooooooooooo!

I just wanted to say that I am going to stop reading Mayor Sam because it has become a Zuma Dogg blog. I have seen Zuma in City Council - he expresses some mildly interesting ideas, but without any understanding of the complexities of any issue. He obviously enjoys what I think is a sad, little celebrity, but I'm not interested in reading about him. So, adios.

We're not whining. I just think that ZD spends too much time promoting himself and not enough time researching issues. He is as much of a clown as the Councilmembers he takes great joy in poking fun at on a regular basis. At least they don't go around trying to sell t-shirts on the boardwalk and then claim first amendment violations.

Good afternoon ladies and gentlemen (takes off hat and gives raised eyebrow look to Zuma Dogg):

Mr. Dogg...consider yourself called out by the pirate. Yesterday I proffered the query about your colleague Nunez pestering the Governor to pester the President for MORE MONEY for the State of California. I even punctuated it with a "Methinks I smell a story, savvy?".

Today Nunez and his colleague Don P have decided to ditch the Governor after promising to help campaign with him in support of the bond measures he's pushing.

THERE IS A STORY HERE. And being the generous wanker that I am, I'll help you out a bit. Perhaps a story lies in the "broken promise" of Nunez, who is a close friend of some other people we know who break promises. Even by pirate standards, that's a shady thing to do; promising to do something if someone does something for you and then bailing on that promise. But promises come with consideration, savvy? What was the consideration? Methinks it was more than money.

I have my hands full with getting scoundrels out onto the plank and other various causes, including but not limited to, making sure Dgarzila has balls for the cannons.

Of course, if Horton heard the hoo (even a hoody hoo), Horton would do what a Gonglepuss must do...and that is dig into this and bring it all out into the light. As me mum would say, there's shit here so start shoveling!!!!

Bugger Nunez and his friend Don P.
Should we add Don P to the plank?

NUNEZ, ROMERO, PADILLA, CEDILLO AND DELEON WALK THE PLANK IN NOVEMBER. The rest walk in March.

11:52am says, "ZD...not enough time researching issues."

That is the most inaccurate comment ever made against me on this blog. And everyone sees through another weak argument from Doc, or whoever.

You think I come up with my info in my sleep, you weak-ass spinning cry baby? IT'S 100% ALL RESEARCH, DUMMY...Brought to me by the People, then I follow-up with hours upon end of phone calls to various government offices and People.

But you already know that.

Why would Council want to drag their ass to Venice Beach to sell shirts. They have the highest paid council salary in America (because they voted for it), and have tons of special interest money pouring in...Venice Beach is where bums are forced to go when there is no where else to go. now why don't YOU go run your dept., crybaby loser.

So Zuma Dogg has been around for 6 months and has already sold out. He has become a propaganda machine for the status quo. KCET and Bratton no less. What a big bowl of pablum.

Hey ZD, a while back you said you were going to talk about your position on (illegal) immigration. We're still waiting.

If you're worried that Cedillo/Villaraigosa types might whine about what you say and "find your comments offensive," don't worry. That's the game they play. Don't let them play you.
