ZUMA DOGG EXCELLENT SPEECHES TODAY IN CLOWNCIL. VERY GOOD POINTS ON NO ON PROP R AND EAA. Good for you, you've finally found your groove speaking without yelling or weird tactics.
Someone please put Michael Hunt in a mental institution. He embarrassed himself today at council and acted like an immature baby. He has become the joke of the city and everyone is asking if he's taking his medication. He's as bad as Sylvia Hawkins who everyone knows from city clowncil raddling off sentences that didn't make sense.
The "GREEN SHEET" has taken over the the torch of City Hall observer from the "HERALD EXAMINER" RIP. Leave it to the "LA ANTONIA TIMES" to become the P.R. mouth piece of "HIS POLLONESS".
Amen!
During the secession election, the Daily News was the only paper telling exactly how the valley gets screwed EVERY DAY by the politicians downtown.
On the other hand "El Tiempo" (as Leykis used to call it) distorted facts, slanted articles, and all but played the race card.
Michael Kinsley was right: The Times should stop pretending to be a national paper, and focus on being an excellent local paper.
There's enough news made out here that what LAT reports will get picked up elsewhere.
I'm glad the Green Sheet/Daily News took over. Did the Times have that Prop R front page coverage? Of course not. They don't dig into local issues.
Meanwhile, the Times had Karen Stabiner on Madonna's adoption, and thinks that that's a big local issue worthy of an op-ed.
Hey, is anyone looking into what Jose Huizar has done for CD Catorce after a year in office?
Are there more neighborhood watches, or just 80 FAKE ones?

I love the Daily News articles, but how about that LA Weekly? Did anyone catch the article regarding the mysterious details surrounding the death of Miguel Contreras?
Sounds like a cover-up to me!
