Victoria Villicano, 42 and innocent until proven guilty, is charged with driving her son and his friends around so they could vandalize Silver Lake and Echo Park. They would allegedly jump out of the car and paint "HIV" and "HIVC" at about 100 sites on Sunset.Hmmm.... Maybe more parent involvement isn't always a great idea.

From the LA Times story:
" This was not Villicano's first arrest...In January, she was charged with one felony count of possession or purchase of a cocaine base for sale. She pleaded guilty and was sentenced to a year in jail with credit for nearly three months behind bars."
If the Mom is a crack-head, then that explains it.
But what I want to point out is her sentence. Does one year in jail sound like a fair sentence for being a crack-head? Something tells me that ain't right.
And before you reply, please discern the fact that I'm referring to her drug conviction, not the vandalism charge. That's a whole different topic.
This post just shows Walter is racist against white people. Specifically those who are Germanic descended.
The term "Vandal" is an ethnic epithet. The Vandals (German, "Wandalen") were a tribe of Germans who fought the Romans in the 5th Century AD and eventually captured the city. Modern historians agree their pillaging of the city was greatly exaggerated, and did not even come close to the Goths.
What's next, racist Walter? Will you say someone "Welshed" on a bet? Make a joke about Irish and drinking?

If the mom got a year in January and was credited for 3 months - why was she even out yet? Those numbers don't add up. Not to this LAUSD schooled head.
If she were on probation, she should be in even more trouble and if I were the parents of the other kids, I would sue her for whatever I could. Child endangerment, anything.

Graffiti has clearly gotten worse in the area between Lincoln Park and Silverlake in the past year or two.
duh - could it be becaus e Mom is driving the little vandals - that can't but help in the proliferation of graffiti - you have to get a license to have a dog but anyone can be a Mother. And if George W has he way - whether it was a mistake or not - you will be a Mother.
