Censorship Continues
Following the abrupt cancellation of the public affairs talk show, "Full Disclosure" from the City of LA channel by Councilman Bernard Parks, phone calls are racking up at the offices of the Information Technology Agency, so much that the agency is now referring callers directly to Parks' office directly.Our sources tell us that the Councilman is preparing a response of his own for sometime this week, in the meantime, the folks at Full Disclosure have prepared a short video about the cancellation, including previous commendatory remarks by Parks about the program.
If you wish to protest this censorship, call Bernard Parks at 213-473-7008.

Why in God's name should these people be entitled to use a city resource? The next thing you know Walter Moore will be demanding his own show.
This shows what a Bitter, Vindictive asshole Parks is. People should be outraged and send e-mails to all the idiots who backed him signing the letter to Bratton and call call call call call his office to complain about Full Discloure. He wanted Dutton to keep something from the public.

Actually, it's a good question: Why should this outfit, no mater how worthy, be subsidized by the taxpayers?
How can Parks have this much power? It couldn't be his sole voice to shut it down. Wasn't this suppose to go to the Info, Technology Committee 1st? I hope Leslie Dutton and her crew show up to city council and blast Parks.
This show is very informational on city personnel and departments so YES its worth the pay.

CD 8 MOTION (PARKS - SMITH) relative to declaring the 55th Annual Miss Universe Pageant a Special Event (fees and costs absorbed by the City = $5,000).
CD 9 MOTION (PERRY - GARCETTI) relative to declaring the 2006 Nisei Week Baby Pageant a Special Event (fees and costs absorbed by the City = $500).
CD 15 MOTION (HAHN - LABONGE ) relative to declaring the Eighth Annual Port of Los Angeles Lobster Festival a Special Event = $5,620).
If the show's so great, let them get picked up by one of the local commercial stations or KCET. I think Dutton rivals Gloria Allred in self promotion.
The City Council Members get an obscene amount of "free" time on cable, without anyone getting to challenge their statements. Comcast routinely interrupts the last five minutes of every CNN Headline News broadcast for fluffy softball interviews of elected officials.
Leslie Dutton's show should be back on immediately. This is a public resource, not a favor graciously granted by our local royalty. And, as far as I can tell, there is no subsidy involved; Leslie doesn't receive any money from the City. And, if there are costs involved, then make EVERYONE pay the SAME costs to broadcast a show; don't just cut someone off because they've ruffled Establishment feathers.
And no, I don't want my own TV show. I want the Daily Show. Or South Park.
Bummer Walter. The Daily Show is taken by an unbeatable host. You're too conservative for the writers of South Park. I don't even think the Stooges fit in either of those categories.

I'm just so glad that the unprofessional, unimpressive, imature, incompetent, insecure and not very bright Hahn staffers will be gone (i.e. Natalie Rayes, Tim McKosker, Roberta Yang, Julie Wong). This is a very good thing for the city. Unfortunately, many of the Hahn staff members did not understand that they were there as public servants. They were truly an embarassment to the city of LA.

SOUNDS LIKE THERE ARE SOME PRETTY BITTER PEOPLE POSTING HERE. CYNTHIA RUIZ DID A GREAT JOB WHEN SHE WAS COMMISSIONER. SHE WAS CUT SHORT. HAHN HURT HIMSELF WHEN HE ALLOWED FORMER COMMISSIONER JANICE WOOD AND FORMER DEPUTY MAYOR NATHALIE RAYES TO CONSPIRE TOGETHER TO FIRE HER WITHOUT ANY SENSITIVITY THAT SHE WOULD BE OUT OF A JOB. LOOKS LIKE BOTH JANICE WOOD AND MS. RAYES GOT WHAT THEY DESERVED. It will be very interesting to see if anyone will pick up so many of the incompetent Hahn staff members. Who would ever want to hire Tim McCosker? It is my understanding he has not helped one of his staff members get a job. Not even Nathalie Rayes, Gil's girlfiend who pretended to be his friend while she badmouthed him. He claims he has "lots of offers" but I don't believe it for a second! He was an arrogant, unimpressive, and insecure person. Why did Jim Hahn ever place any trust in him?

See if you AVistas (who shouldn't be throwing stones) can at least follow your own boss and avoid being mysoginistic can't-get-a-date-with-your-mother losers. Nathalie is no lady. Some folks may think she is good looking. But, on the inside she is a very bad and ugly human being. She is very imature and insecure. I too have worked with her and can honestly tell you that she is a bad person. She is a person that only cares about herself and getting ahead at any cost. Even if that means dating or engaging in unprofessional and ladylike behavior. She is not loyal or faithful to Gil. Poor Gil. She has been other men while she has been with him. She is not loyal to her friends. When she drinks she is uglier than she is sober. The sad thing is that she actually thiks that everyone likes her. It is a good that she is packing her bags. I hope that all the evil and bad things she did come back to haunt her. SHE IS A BAD AND HARMFUL PERSON! MAKE NO MISTAKE ABOUT IT.
