Pedophiles and Illegal Aliens

Unable to keep children - legal, illegal, black, brown white and everything else - safe from pedophile priests, the Los Angeles and Orange County Roman Catholic dioceses are at it again. This time they're giving in to political children, at the expense of the well being of their own children.

In order to root out pedophiles from those volunteers who work with children, the dioceses planned to do background checks. But the problem is, even with a Matricular Consular card, its not easy to vet the records of illegal aliens. And most of them are quite undestandily squeamish about things like being fingerprinted, showing ID, etc. So rather that upset and lose their services (apparently to the do the things American Catholics won't do), the church is quietly scrapping the background check plan.

Its absolutely shameful the church is doing this. Its not just the Catholics who have faced issues of child abuse in the church, but these two local dioceses are the ones in the news right now having made this horrible decision. Organizations like churches, mosques, synagogues, YMCAs, Boys and Girls Club, etc. that have children working near adults should do their due diligence. Those who prey on children are drawn to these opportunities to be near potential victims. Why open the door any more than necessary?

A "sworn affidavit stating that they have not been convicted of any crime" by people who have already illegally crossed the border and squatted here. Absolutely worthless. The catholic church, once again, should be ashamed of itself.

Prince Roger, shame?

C'mon man. He should have resigned years ago, once his failure to discipline pedophile priests became known.

If he were the CEO of a public company, he'd be in jail now for aiding and abetting.

If I were a Catholic, I'd be screaming down at the District Attorney's office for failure to prosecute the man.

How about each looking into their own church's hiring policies? People might be equally horrified.

Mahoney is a pedophile himself. Fire the bastard. Take a look at all those pervert priests that surround him everytime there is a shot of him in the church.

I quit the church 5 yrs. ago after all these pedophile priests were exposed...or should I say, exposed themselves.

Keep you kids away from the schools and the catholic church!

Fuck 'em all!

Hey Mailander:

The problem with your comment is that most local churches don't have the worldwide infrastructure to hide pedophiles like the Catholic Church does.

The issue here is not the mere existence of these awful people, it's how you prevent them from coming near children, and how you get them away from children once you know who they are.

We already know the Catholic Church's dismal track record in this area. They should have a higher standard of background checks, not a lower one.

Well raise your hand who is surprised?

total indifference, is the reason www.FamilyLawCourts.com exists.

Check out the bad cop section....PA is well represented.

In what passes for my normal life, I'm a publicist. However once I discovered the media remains clueless to the daily realities women face, (largely because newsrooms are run by (surprise) men - I felt morally obligated to do something about it. I've discovered fake attorneys, fake therapists, and judges who know this, who continue to not only allow them to dupe the public in court; order people to use them.

As Lorraine Dutsky's 1999, "Unequal Justice - the Shameful Truth about Women and Justice in America" points out; in litigated custody cases the individual who is criminally responsible for a child's injuries, is generally awarded custody. This is because they have the financial resources to hire the kind of experts to pitch their position.

Unfortunately the courts awarding custody to the abuser has been documented in two documentaries. One "Small Justice" and the other,
Breaking the Silence
http://www.cptv.org/pdf/BTS_pressrelease.pdf

After its release, a group of father's rights badgered PBS by calls and emails until PBS backpedaled. This same group did the exact same thing with Dick Clark's Production company after plans to do a series on Deadbeat Dads were made public. A producer told me DCP shut it down before the first program was shot. Not so for Mark Burnett's production "Rescue" - a program of kidnapped children. But that program also felt the wrath of father's rights group, and the public continues to suffer from media distortion of claims made by disgruntled fathers.

That said, this isn't rocket science. More men kill their former wives, girlfriends, and children than the reverse.

www.FamilyLawCourts.com educates the reader that Family Court is run in a Halliburton kind of way. (No accountability, little oversight and Judges acting more like sales reps awarding no-bid contracts for those providing 'services' to the industry).

In an uncontested divorce, mothers usually win custody because the father simply left for whatever reasons. But as was discovered in Contested custody cases involving abuse, the abuser generally, because of higher economic resources, wins custody of the children.

Also, domestic violence has become a local boon for city council members, enabling them to request federal funding via franchised "Family Justice Centers" - (typically hailed as a "one stop shop" by savvy pr types, which is code for routinely violating due process rights.)
http://www.familylawcourts.com/domestic.html

Family Justice Centers originated in San Diego and are spun nation wide at the federal level here:
http://www.usdoj.gov/ovw/pfjci.htm (scroll to the bottom to see them pop up like McDonalds. However, in tracking the grants, very little went to support women. In San Diego almost five million was spent buying cops bullet proof vests, instead.)

And as the Below indicates, they just don't work.

If your interest is sparked you might consider investigating how each states, State Bar circumvents the criminal justice system. Attorneys the State Bar disbars, who throw up websites as consultants, or "international" attorneys, are not routed to the local DA for prosecution.
The State Bar knows parents are used as prey, but does nothing to stop it.

Thanks.
