A Case For Scotland Yard
Police in Adelanto, California, arrested David Bowers, age 34, for theft of a front yard, including grass, bushes and sprinklers. He allegedly stole the yard from a home under construction, and used the sod, plants and pipes at his own home. What in the heck was he thinking? And would this crime be even theoretically possible in any place other than California?

crazeeey! Any knucklehead is capable of anything.
Seriously though, there has been a rash of equipment and materials being stolen from many construction yards all over the country. Material, such as lumber and steel, has appreciated significantly and criminals have found the benefit to steel and sell the material to contractors. Furthermore, construction sites are usually not secured areas at night which makes it easier for criminals to commit the theft. I heard something about construction site thefts on “Dateline” or some other TV newsmagazine.
You should look it up to learn more.
Why is Walter Moore still being allowed access to MS? Fuck MS. You're an asshole!
You really should ask for a refund from that anger management program.
And this is related to Los Angeles politics how...?
The city is involved in building. Material cost is up. Thieves stealing material for profit jack up the cost. The contractors need to compensate for the (possible) loss and material cost, therefore their bids for City jobs are higher as a whole. The City ends up paying more. You pay more when politicians stick you with higher fees and taxes.
The original post is an example of how desperate people are to make a buck.
Can you make the connection?
