Brown Holds Significant Lead Over Delgadillo

In a poll released by the Jerry Brown for Attorney General Committee, the former Governor and current Mayor of Oakland is leading his Democratic primary opponent - Los Angeles City Attorney Rocky Delgadillo - by nearly 30 points.

The poll, conducted by Fairbank, Maslin, Maullin & Associates, shows Brown leading Delgadillo 45% - 14% among likely Democratic primary voters. The poll shows Brown leading Delgadillo in nearly every demographic group, including a 2-1 lead in Delgadillo's hometown of Los Angeles. Brown even has a slight advantage over Delgadillo in securing the Latino vote.

I guess it's tough to run for AG when you have no legal experience to speak of and the totality of your work experience includes a year stint at a law firm.

Rocky: just try holding on as city attorney.

Rocky must have the worst political team in memory. Why does Ann still have her job? She is universally disliked and is ineffective. Reporters make fun of his 'news releases' where there is no news.
Granted, he is a victim of term lights in one sense; that he has to look for other jobs immediately.

Diss Delgadillo all you want, but there's no way the Golden State is stepping back into Gov. Moonbeam's not-so parallel dimension any time soon.

The flower children are dying off now, and those that are still alert have been stockbrokers for the past 20 years.

Hey, just got to say this, during the state dem convention in LA, Rocky met with DNC Chair Howard Dean for about one hour. what they talked about I cannot discuss. When ol Gerry came around, Dean would only shake his hand outside the office and then say "good luck." I could not believe my ears and eyes as I stood there watching all of this unfold. take it for all its worth as some would say. But I saw the Chair of DNC sit and talk longer with rocky than with Gerry.

Rocky had one shot at this thing. He had a very talented Campaign Manager, Larry Grisilano. He left the campaign and they now have some old Davis hacks in charge, who arent even putting in the time on this campaign. I guess you cant blame them though.

As usual the Democrats find a way to snatch defeat out of the jaws of victory.

Jerry Brown will lose in the General election to Poochigian, who will be well funded and be running with Arnold and McClintock.

Jerry's baggge will weigh him down, once he is out of a primary loaded with flower children and old hippies.

The Dem's need to reconsider, quickly, or lose the AG's spot for sure. Like him or not, Rocky is the one that can beat Pooch.

Brown's blogger is at it again. Why don't you wait more than ten mintues between posts so readers will think you're more than one person?

Rocky,

It's called Karma. Sorry dude, you can fool some of the people all of the time and all of the people some of the time but sooner or later Karma catches up to you. It's a shame that pic doesn't have you post-plugs and caps. You really are much better looking now -- just not more honest and smart.

I use to be a supporter of Rocky until one of his people did something unthinkable to some crime victims. When Rocky was told he totally ignored the issue and didn't do or say anything about it. So it showed me he could care less about crime victims and more about protecting his own butt and his employees who are being paid with our tax dollars to screw up.

Brown is far better qualified than Rocky to be this State's attorney general. It's difficult to imagine a position for which Rocky is the most qualified, or the best qualified, or even minimally qualified. It certainly would not be a job in the legal field. Perhaps something relaing to car insurance?
