I'd like to see the mayor attend the filling of other holes: the graves of the hundreds of murder victims in our city each year because he and his colleagues won't hire enough police. But I guess that wouldn't be as cutesy as filling potholes, would it?

So we do need to look at the cable issue: someone said before there is no in between. Agreed.
the fact there still hasn't been hired more police.
and after the 1st of JAnuary filling potoles isn't going to be cute anymore, and this sort of news will start to get obnoxious
Downtown Los Angeles NEighborhood Council will be holding elections this year .
