One Less Vote for Huizar?

We're hearing that Mayor Villaraigosa is voting in a local Hancock Park precinct, near his new "Getty House" home and not back in his home precinct in Mt. Washington. Hence, that would bar him from voting in the CD14 election. Anyone know more?

***Update***Here's the link to the AP pics. Pic 1 and pic 2

Another fast one by our Mayor.

What's wrong with him voting at all the voting polls.

You guys are ridiculous.

Well, there goes the "1" in the 50+1 scheme.

Mayor Sam's blog will survive after all, due to another 3-month long extended nasty
fight over CD14.

Wouldn't THAT be a hoot it Huizar LOST (and/or Pacheco WON), by just a few votes, and then we find out the mayor and his family re-registered out of CD14.

HA!

Headline: "The AV giveth, then the AV taketh away!"

Get real, people.

It was ANOTHER publicity STUNT! A photo-op! AV voted WEEKS ago, absentee... guaranteed. But it's ONE more chance to be on camera, so you walk in, get your photo jollies, and walk back out again.

The STUB he's holding in the L.A. Times photo is an ABSENTEE stub, ther shorter version. The onsite ballot stubs as much larger than the absentee ones. It's ANOTHER fake-out just like his CM term, and NOW, his mayoralty.

did YOU actually vote today? they are using the new fold-over ballots that have the shorter stub.

that is a poll ballot stub he is holding. i have one on my desk right in front of me.

you guys are insane. looking for commies under every bed.

He may be right, at least about the stub:

I voted at the poll this morning, and my stub doesn't look like that. Politicians traditionally do the poll walk, but usually you get a shot of them going into the booth, etc. but that could also be faked.

I did door hangers for Pacheco at 6 a.m. There were 612 people already signed in when I got there -- including Alvin Parra, who has finally seen the light!Pacheco is going to clean Huizar's clock.

antonio is actually holding the stub of a pacheco supporter he had murdered by parke skelton's icelandic dog.

see? if you look closely you can see the kerning is off and the specks of blood from the pacheco supporter that was bludgeoned by the ink-a-vote machine.

Antonio didn't, and Fred Brito can't (see next thread). Bummer Huizar, two of your biggest admirers are already out-of-reach.

FIVE DAMN E-MAILS from Huizar campaign central already -- just since last night, all BEGGING, no PLEADING with people to come and GOTV.

Are these people desperate or what...?

"Internally" they're saying "so we can knock Pacheco off today (but in the "inner circle" they're saying, so we don't look like we wasted a quarter million on flyers NOBODY but the faithful read.

3-4 of them looked like Huizar was running for SCHOOL BOARD again... with all the references to NEW SCHOOLS and EDUCATION (except for the final tag line), which said "for city council." I'll bet tons of people (who don't have kids) threw them out thinking it was one of the races they don't bother to vote for, unless they do.

Once again Antonio is holding Huizar's hand in Boyle Heights. How cute they were together again!! People are beginning to talk. What does it say that Jose can't be in the community by himself? Is this the type of councilman the district wants? Hell No. Next thing you know Antonio will be moving his city hall office back to Boyle Heights. Get a grip Jose! Grow Up, Be A Man, Stand on your own like Pacheco.

Isn't against Catholic Archodisese for any politics to be happening on school grounds? Someone needs to write a letter to Bishop Zavala and tell them about Jose having his election party on catholic school private property. Unbelievable he's not having it at an LAUSD school.

He doesn't know the location of any LAUSD schools. He only knows where the consultants, contractors, law firms and ATMs are located.

Yeah stupid! if you don't live in the district, then you cannot vote in the district for a new councilmember...
