Mayor Sam's Sham
It falls to me to point out corruption around this town and here is something - Mayor Sam's Dumbest Council Member poll is a sham because it does not include Councilman Eric Garcetti.How can one issue a poll asking who is the dumbest member of the City Council and then omit one of the members of the Council? Indeed, It stretches credibility. Yorty's half baked excuse was one of forgetting as he posted in response to a dutiful reader catching the error.
One of our readers posits that Mayor Sam's true identity may be that of one of Mr. Garcetti's own staff, hence his exclusion of Garcetti from the poll. I believe that has some merit to it.
In the meantime, I would caution our gentle readers from presuming any accuracy to this poll, despite that fact that Mr. Antonio Villaraigosa (nee Villar) is leading as the biggest idiot on the Council.
How can you trust such results when the process is so tainted?

Alright Shaw you idiot. I fixed the poll to include your boyfriend Garcetti and started over. You morons have one week to vote and one week from now we'll announce the winners.

Whoever spotted your error Mayor Sam should at least be made a honory councilmember, or better still replace the dumbest member.
It looks like the ABADV people hijacked the poll just like the pro-ADV people hijacked the Ch 4 poll. We're really getting tired of them maybe more tired of them than we are tired of Antonio. But if Antonio went away, they all would too.
Given the pace of votes on the last poll, it goes without saying that there are a few people out there furiously deleting their cookies and voting often in this poll for Villagaigosa.
I think it is safe to say that LaBonge is the reigning dunce. After that, it gets competitive.

Must have been hijacked. The guy stands on his tiptoes and lies to 300,000 constituents about keeping the job for one or more full terms, does nothing for the district in 18 months, and it couldn't possibly be that a few dozen of the 300K are righteously indignant.
That Tony has got some big ones. in the statement of the week. Tony to Hahn: "As usual, you take credit for other peoples work."

What always amazes me is that Antonio's supporters always assume that any large-scale sign of disrespect for their boy is one of the other candidates' flunkies playing games on him.
All the yahoo groups and informal e-mail networks on the Eastside need to know is - he's running again, somwhere, and here's a quick way to show how displeased you are with the level of "service" without being subject to payback from his vengeful field staff. Call it "anti-tipping" (if you like) and they don't need no help from anybody else's campaign.
Typical JH and AV supporters - jacking up the poll in favor of La Bonge or Tony. Wonder how many votes they will steal in the election.
Better bring in the UN and Jimmy Carter.
Tom LaBonge is by far the stupidest with Janice in a close second. Tony V. is calculated like his run for Council and second run as mayor. He is stupid because he thought nobody would realize but now even his major supporters in the past have realized it.
Janice has bigger balls than Gameboy Padilla and Attention Deficit Villaraigosa put together. I've heard from women all over the city that cheered when she told that little asshole off in council. Good for her, she wasn't afraid of the little shit.
