Dispatches from the Mystical Los Angeles Political Wilderness for Monday

As the Los Angeles Times takes note of CD 8 City Councilman Bernard Park's supposed exiling to the "Political Wilderness", we undertake a bloggin journey within its common sense refuge, in seeking out the beauty of ethical, open and transparent governess.

Memo to the editors at the "Old Gray Collectivist Hag on Spring Street" (aka LA Times), why for once do you allocate story budgeting on a missive regarding a supposed wilderness (a political one at that) that does not have a Eco Scribe Louie Sahagun Byline?

Yes, the "wilderness" in question where supposedly CD 8 City Councilman Bernard Parks has been exiled to, is of a mythical variety, but like all wilderness areas (both mythical and real) within the United States (and subjects of many excellent Sahagun's missives), they are political creations.

As many conservationists would agree, Aldo Leopold should be given credit for championing the cause of Wilderness Areas Designation within the US, with the "Old Gray Collectivist Hag on Spring Street", generally in support of those who believe in Leopold's vision of setting aside open space for generations to come.

That said, we call upon the "Former Fishwrap of Record" to join us on a mythical journey into a political wilderness, away from a polluting "Detroit on the Pacific in the Making Political Machine", where those are free to behold and espouse the wonders of non-corrupted governess.

Bountiful in this wilderness are the wonders of Pension Reform, Balance Budgeting, striving Free Markets, regulated Unions, low Taxation and an ethical City Council that prides itself on true Constituent Services.

Besides Councilman Parks, other voices of reasons within LA's Political Wilderness include the likes of Jack Humphreville (who opines on the budget-breaking LAPD Contract Proposal), Joel Kotkin (musing on Southern California becoming less Family-friendly), Paul Hatfield (disclosing the Maximum Misinformation on raising the Minimum Wage) and of course Ron Kaye (chronicling California's Philanderer in Chief, and gladly, its not Tony Villar).

Yet, there are some who voices of reform, once sounded freely from the airwaves within the Political Wilderness, only to cross its boundaries in succumbing to the material temptation of wanting to become part of the machine, as evident by former Radio Host Kevin James, taking a bite, and fully consuming the apple of a paid appointment as President of the Board of Public Works. 

We realize that the Liberal, West LA-centric Editorial Board has shown a past aversion to supporting causes embraced in the LA Political Wilderness, but with new a new Publisher in Austin "Mini Riordan II" Beutner, there may be hope that the current  "Old Gray Collectivist Hag on Spring Street" will change its enabling Agenda Journalism ways, and embrace the causes originating from the Wilderness, in the spirit of averting a Detroit on the Pacific Wasteland in Los Angeles.
