What a bad idea and what a band aid approach for park space. This will be nothing more than a haven for those homeless guys who don't want to abide by shelter rules and prefer to stay on the street. As soon as a driver runs into this "porch", guess who is liable? Downtown gets a new railway and the rest of the district gets parking slots - great way to show your priorities Huizar.
