Gosh! Controlling my composure will be a challenge in completing this missive (sniffle, sniffle HA HA!).
From a "Born to Raise Hell Young Man" to a "Dream with Me Rock Star Mayor" , the politico once called the "Latino Tony Blair", will not take his latest upcoming political incarnation to Washington DC, for a four year run.
Mayor Antonio Ramon Villar announced yesterday that he was "taking himself out of consideration" for a possible cabinet post in a second term President Barack "H" Obama Administration.Translating the Mayor Villar Friday Bad News Dump into Villar Homie Speak, President Obama said CHALE!
Its been a laugh the past few weeks as the likes of the "Weekly of Record", "Old Gray Collectivist Hag on Spring Street", "The Moldy Valley Green Sheet", "The Westside White Guy" and the "Enabling Maven", dedicated story after story, feeding into the (mayor's associates created) speculation on what possible cabinet position Mayor Villar would be anointed.
But our sources never wavered from the consistent line that the Obama Administration could not take a chance on a Mayor Villar nomination and have it blow up in their faces upon background review. Thus, the verbal facade of a possible cabinet appointment, was only that.
With a D.C. option gone as quick as a Telebimbo one-nighter, what awaits Antonio Ramon Villar at midnight on July 1, 2013? Most likely ample quality time to reflect on eight year of fail leadership and policy initiatives and getting use to a political re branding minus his ex. wife Raigosa name.
But rest assure (or be warn) that a new incarnation of Villar will again appear. The only question is whether the "Low Information Retention Voter" will buy into the new Villar?

This may define "building a straw man." Mayor Sam repeatedly claimed that AV wanted a cabinet position, and when he announced that he didn't want one, Mayor Sam pats itself on the back. What if he never wanted such a position, and what if he was never seriously considered by the White House? Would that mean that Mayor Sam built a scenario that could never happen, and then applauded itself because it never happened?
God Almighty, our prayers for the United States have been answered.
You know that BEFORE Tony Villar "announced" he was taking himself out of consideration for a Cabinet position, the Obama administration must have given him him the brush off. Tony knows when to "lead the parade" when they are about to run you out of town on a rail.
Those of us who have watched this a**hole grow up on the Eastside, know that he would send his grandmother, his wife, his children, and his (current) girlfriend to their graves in exchange for a chance to take a Cabinet position. He has been jockeying for it all these years.
But Obama and even First Lady Michelle, are smart enough to know they don't want to get involved with Tony Villar's corrupt machine and long list of personal intellectual and personality failings.
Perhaps Tony can retire to a place far far away, and spare us the embarrassment of watching his Post-Mayoral decline.
That 4:21pm comment sounds about right... the same thing happened as the governor's office became a more distant dream after not looking good in personal matters and barely making it back for a second term.
The excuse there came to assure us he'd be serving his entire term (but it wasn't by choice).

Machiavillian-- keep your enemies close...the Obama's remembered Anton was a Clinton convert from the start-- Latino vendido...so give the messenger a little Obama star power crumbs n see if u can deal with Chicago style politics...oops...so along the way, your past haunts you...you redraw council districts at the expense of people of color, you bash teachers, and you hang out in Mexico partying...yeah you raised hell, but you essentially got your DC appointment--du-raza-que-hace-nada DNC ceremonial talker who bids for the 1 percent of LA in lieu of the union rank n file....sound familiar...new alignment...Garcittii for Mayor of Los Angeles!

He's just the White (wannabe Jewish, Latino, Italian, straight/gay/bi/transgendered/androgynous, anything-you-want-me-to-be) candidate. The guy is the Selig of LA politics. I would feel better if Eric left town with Tony Villar.
Population in Hollywood is dropping due to Garcetti's "progressive" affordable housing policy:
Stand silent as developers bulldoze affordable housing units
Then stand silent as developers get projects rubberstamped by Toney Villars shameful Planning Commission without any affordable housing units
Then stand silent as the developer rationalizes 40% less parking on the dubious claim that luxury condo and apartment dwellers living near a bus stop (not even a rail line, but a bus stop) will abandon their cars.
Accept massive developer campaign contributions.
Repest process until homelessness and flight of skilled workers strangles the City and drives it to bankruptcy.
Garcetti singlehandly is responsible for the tragic loss of many many affordable housing units in Los Angeles. He speaks with forked tongue when he claims otherwise at the debate. Look behind the eyes when he promises --- it's all calculated deceit.
Friends don't let friends vote for Garcetti.
