Home Depot Comes Out of Hiding, Posts Signs, Hires Dancing Santa Clown

Lonely Santa clown looking for customers

There's Home Depot!

After operating as a clandestine "Not a Home Depot" tree stand at 8040 Foothill in Sunland since Dec 1st, the geniuses at Home Depot have finally realized their amateur ruse wasn't working. Being outed here on Mayor Sam probably didn't help either. They've now hired a dancing Santa clown to try and improve dismal sales. Meanwhile, a few blocks away, long time local resident and tree vendor, Kathy Anthony, is seeing a booming business!

I hope Home Depot continues to suffer poor sales at that location. They deserve it for bringing the losers at Latham & Watkins and Dakota Communications to try to "sell" their crap store to Sunland/Tijunga.

Home Depot gives capitalism and corporations a bad name. A real American embarrassment.

6:03, the Santa does resemble Phil a bit, but more like Phil in his Mann Chinese theater days when he dressed as Spiderman for tips. Phil has swelled up in recent years and currently only dresses as Boss Hogg from Dukes of Hazard or as Hoss Cartwright from Bonanza when groveling for handouts.

10:47pm is right. Phil has definitely swelled up in the past two years. I won't mention the cleavage he's developed.

Home Depot has a tree lot at the Glassell Park vacant Kmart lot as well. Santa Claus and lights too.

Makes you think that the person at Home Depot who greenlighted that idea is feeling pretty stupid right now.

What does Phil have to do with this? Other than he hates Sunland-Tujunga.

Home Depot is really stupid here.

By the way, I'm using a plastic tree. Green and sustainable.

Home Depot will never be sustainable in Sunland-Tujunga.
BTW, I hate the overused and abused phony word

2:52 of course I was mocking Al Gore and the Sustainers; but indeed plastic lives forever as I have heard!
