With this being Thanksgiving week and the biggest travel holiday weekend of the year, both TSA agents and airline passengers can look forward to what we are calling "Gropefest 2010". Millions of traveling crotches just waiting to be inspected!
Uh-oh, California Republicans may be on the sidelines for the foreseeable future as far as state politics go. Blame it on Pete Wilson and what's her name. Speaking of what's her name, where there's money, there's always the possibility of blowing more of it.
Why is it that every time it rains in Los Angeles, somebody winds up being swept away in the LA River?
In the "That's Just Crazy Talk/Throw Him Under The Bus" department, Warren Buffet says, ""I think people at the high end, people like myself, should be paying a lot more in taxes," the billionaire investor and founder of Berkshire Hathaway said. "We have it better than we've ever had it."
Meanwhile, back at the 9.6% national unemployment rate ranch; the Republicans have successfully blocked an extension of unemployment benefits. This will affect almost a million of the unemployed by next week and an additional million by the end of December. Ah, good thinking GOP, and just in time for the holidays!

Warren Buffet is a dick.
He's old about die, and had TO BE convinced by Bill Gates to give to charity. Before Gates, Buffet didn't like how the Carneigies, Mellon's and Vanderbilts were philanthropic.
So now, here's an old dick, saying hey I've made my billions, the rest of you making your way into my stratosphere should pay more in taxes.
He's also a dick because like Gates, 99% of his income is from dividends... where as most people who make $250K-$1M actually work for it.
Buffet pays less in taxes because dividend income is taxed less.
Buffet should go fuck himself.
Lets not forget he's an Obama supporter and gave Obama support on his economic agenda... how's that working out Buffet? Please take your 6 pack of cherry coke somewhere else.

Joe, it is intellectually dishonest of you to say that the "GOP blocked the unemployment benefit" without saying what the REASON is.
You need to say that it was because the Dems needed to couple the extension with a slash of spending elsewhere.
Why did you leave that part out?
California unemployment still teeters at 12.4%, and it's over 20% when the experts crank in underemployed and those who've stopped looking.
How Jerry Brown is going to "create" jobs is beyond me. He's going to oversee the state's bankrupcty, which I think is inevitable at this point.
Interesting thing about Buffett, he always ends up being proven right.
Any time someone of his stature says anything, there will be someone to complain about it. He's been criticized before. But his record speaks for itself.
He didn't inherit his money. He got it the old fashioned way.
Anyone who is critical of his opinions because he supported Obama will probably be driving a 25 year old Ford all their life.
The only people who are against scanners and body searches are those who have something to hide or those who want to make trouble.
Flying is not a privilege, nor a right.

He is just like every other elitist... he made his money, he cheated the tax system (and I am sure he still does), but why should someone who is now starting to make money pay a higher tax? Because Buffet wants to make sure no one else enters his class.

Instead he build a financial empire buying up companies to capitalize on the tax system.
