- Yesterday, the whistleblower on steroids, Wikileaks, dropped a bomb on U.S. diplomatic and covert operations by beginning to post over 250,000 leaked United States embassy cables, "the largest set of confidential documents ever to be released into the public domain". The dirt is flying and the grandstanding has begun. Don't expect it to end for years to come.

Do you feel that the Obama/Eric Holder Justice Department should prosecute the failed Oregon bomber from last weeek in civilian court?
Didn't work with the other terrorist trial in NY, with 283 counts (out of 284) resulting in an acquittal.

Has anyone seen the hysterical write up of Phil Jennerjahn in the Los Feliz Ledger? The wonderful writer nailed Phil as though she read every one of his silly commentaries here and online. So good, in fact, that Phil was really embarrassed by its accuracy. Like always, Phil is blaming the comments on Mary, as if she is the only one who thinks he is a moron. With Phil quitting the CD-4 race (and good riddance for that), dating back to law school, Phil's "record" is DROPPED OUT (LAW SCHOOL), LAST PLACE FINISH (MAYOR), LAST PLACE FINISH (CONGRESS), QUIT (RECALL CITY HALL), QUIT (CD4 RACE).
And he now writes on his blog that he is again running for Congress in 2012.
John Phillips on KABC was right. Phil was, and remains, in the public domain because he craves attention, positive or even negative, saying "He doesn't appear to have anything else going right in his life."
Joe, you sound almost gleeful about this. If anything, it's creating awful circumstances for the Obama administration.
You'll find that a lot of the documents released reflect negatively on Obama, too.
My guess is that you think it's just about Bush. But they go back to H.W. Bush and Clinton administrations, too.

Phil Jennerjahn is the Richard Simmons of local politics, except Simmons is more masculine, wealthier and better liked.
God Bless Allison the writer at the Los Feliz Ledger for showing that one only needs to meet Phil once in order to conclude he is a man-child at least and a con-artist at worst.
And he has the NERVE to suggest that ALARCON is criminal? Phil admitted he doesn't even LIVE in CD4! And boy oh boy, it's too bad we can't force him to explain where the Recall City Hall $$$ went.
Odd how someone one day doesn't have enough cash for a car, but suddenly has enough to rent a "sweet" Mustang and $10,000 for the buy-in at the World Series of Poker.
Phil may get away with that type of theft, unless he was lying about the size of the contributions, as a private citizen, but it's clear to me, anyway, that he would also be indicted if he were ever to get elected to office. But that will never happen.
Thank god for the Mayor Sam blog for outting him for the cheesey sleaze ball that he seems to be.
I'm a friend of both City Council Pauls (Krekorian and Koretz) and think Phil Jennerjahn's namecalling as a citizen is exactly what he would have been like in office.
What a child, calling Krekorian Lord Voldemort. What a fool, calling Koretz the cat whisperer.

Just wondering if those people who spend so much of their day posting about Phil on this site ever take time at the end of the day to wonder how much value they have added to their lives or anyone else's life.
