Open Thread and Happy Birthday to Mack Reed
Be sure to wish a happy birthday today to Mack Reed, LA uber-blogger and content guru extraordinaire. The one who, unlike certain aging, myopic Anglo bloggers, had the decency not claim that a congratulatory paperweight given to newspaper employees is akin to winning a Pulitzer. Happy Birthday Mack!

My comment is that you are ceaselessly jealous, not to mention overly sensitive when people comment about YOU.
You can dish it, but aren't able to take it.

Just go back to the newspaper's own accounts of the way they won those staff awards.
You know who gets the most credit? Boyle Heights' own Leo Wolinsky. The newsroom chants "Leo, Leo, Leo" every time they won a group award.
It's pretty easy to look up. It's called microfiching at a public library. You may have to use the old Times Index, which most central libraries also carry.

Jealous of what? And looks like you blew your own argument.

You're very classy yourself, MS, to think of Mack on his birthday. Many happy returns to Mack Reed!

Whoever is still using microfiching apparently doesn't have something called a COMPUTER with which you can just go to the database of any newspaper in the world.

Mayor Sam did yuou ever stop to think that he might be the person who you think mary is? How do you know she's doing all of this stuff? Maybe it's him?
I have to agree that you do come across as petty at the least and jealous at the most every time you write something about Roderick. YOu can think what you want about it, but it does reflect negatively on you and it is almost predictable that you end up looking bad when you do.

Uh, jealous of Kevin. At least he understands the difference between reporting and chronic ad hominem attacks. Yeah, jealous is definitely the word.

good point. The MS Wacko Loon might be Roderick and not Mary. The only catch is Roderick supported Walter Moore. But Mary had an arrangement.
