I nominate zuma dogg. How come you never do that? It's not like the guy isn't worth of it on the basis of his behavior, antagonism, and inability to dig himself out of the hole he personally create.

Maybe he won't win it, but he deserves a nomination.

What is a "Political Errant Boy"?

For you newbies, Mike Trujillo blogged here back when Mayor Sam was respected and feared. Trujillo's long gone now. He's moved up to bigger and better like managing the campaign of a major presidential candidate. It's funny and ironic how the most prolific writer now is an illiterate know nothing called Red Spot who posts offensive photos and language and takes shots at Trujillo.

Memo to 10:55AM,

Did someone hurt your deep rooted feelings for "MEAT" ??

I will give you partial credit on the "managing" comment considering that he was Billary's Field Director in North Carolina, where he lost.

But lets return to recent history where "MEAT" was given a title, big money and resources to gain voter support for Prop B. Do you remember the results ?? He blew it!!

And regarding those past errants, one may remember the photo op that he set up at Forshay Middle School where the children were subjective to standing and fainting, so the Mayor could show how well he could reform LAUSD.

But I'm sure that Antonio still holds MEAT in high regards as a driver.

MEMO TO THE "LA ANTONIA TIMES"

The arm twisting from the POLLORAIGOSA P.R. Team was too much for you as the story and picture on the "DEAR LEADER" rendering aid to abuse child shows.
The above mention child was young girl who fainted during the Angelides Rally at Forshay School. What compell you scribes to publish the photo reveling the idenity of the the young child ? Is this child being use again to show the compasion of our "DEAR LEADER" ? The real story is here is the fact that Michael Trujillo falsely stated to school officials that he had LAUSD approval for this rally . Further, by subjecting these children to conditions that can be discribed as abusive (Standing for long period in hot confines). Mr. Trujillo should be fired for falsehoods and for using children in a blatant political event. Lastly, the Times should investigate whether someone should be prosecuted for child endangerment.

More on Mike's Photo Op.

As endorsement rallies go, this one was made to order: Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa endorsed Democrat Phil Angelides for governor Tuesday before a crowd of cheering children chanting: "Go, Phil, Go!"

But there was a problem: Students attending Los Angeles public schools are not supposed to be used as props for partisan political events. To make matters worse, students missed class when they were not supposed to -- all the while enduring political speeches in a steaming auditorium. One group of students had to stand on stage for about an hour, and one girl fainted on stage. What exactly happened at Foshay Learning Center, near downtown? Was it a cynical, improper manipulation of students? Or perhaps sloppy planning? Or one more sign of a disconnect between the mayor's office and the school district?

It depends on who's pointing the finger.

Having the event at a school in the first place was a potential problem. Board policy states, "Schools may not be used as a forum for political events -- neither individual political campaigns nor political issues."

Pilar Marrero, a columnist for the Spanish-language La Opinion, first raised the issue in a Wednesday column.

District officials acknowledged the policy and also conceded that they allowed the event to go forward after word got to them belatedly. But students were never supposed to become advocates, they said.

"We welcome today's current leaders to come to our schools and interact with our future leaders about the importance of community and civic engagement," said Lucy Okumu, director of external affairs for the district.

It was, apparently, a last-minute affair -- especially considering how long the Angelides campaign had been waiting for the popular Democratic mayor to endorse the Democratic state treasurer.

Campaign staffers for the mayor started working the phones Friday along with officials of the teachers union to find a school to serve as a backdrop. The principal at Foshay was willing, provided that the district approved, said Josh Pechthalt, a vice president of United Teachers Los Angeles.

Pechthalt relayed the message to "the mayor's office," as he put it. The mayor's office was, in this case, Mike Trujillo, working with Nathan James. Both are full-time employees of the mayor's Excellence in L.A. Schools, which promoted Villaraigosa's bid for substantial authority over the Los Angeles Unified School District. Trujillo alerted Angelides' people, said James, adding his involvement ended there.

Red Spot is proof positive of the laws of reciprocity -- you know, like when someone's blind and their sense of hearing becomes stronger.

His heightened memory allows him to recall everything he heard, read, or gossiped about on public officials a decade ago. He just can't spell any of the 2- or 3-syllable words in that last sentence.

Southwest Society who will fawn and kiss the ass of Councilmember Huizar and Mayor Villaraigosa faster than moths to an open flame. Last month all of these ASS CLOWNS were defending the Autry Museum and claiming Autry can be trusted to preserve the Southwest Museum site without a legally enforceable condition on the Autry's desired expansion in Griffith Park.

NOW, the same Ass Clowns are applauding Councilmember Huizar's call for a legally enforceable condition. They will abandon Autry in a millisecond because this was never about their trusting Autry to do the right thing. They will abandon Autry because they wish to continue to lap at the feet of Huizar and Villaraigosa.

It's a group award this month, to the Ass Clowns of the Southwest Society. www.southwestsociety.org/about.html

Los Angeles City Council and Deputy City Attorney Dion.

Mr. Eric Garcetti, a want to be council president, should be worrying about his colleagues being on time at chambers, instead of always “Awaiting a Quorum” or loosing a Quorum for no good reasons. Many times, Mr. Eric Garcetti will say councilmember, blank, has left without permission and there is never a reprimand from Mr. Eric Garcetti or Deputy City Attorney Dion O'Connell. What a joke this is watching the council in action or missing in action, specifically when voting on an agenda item where council has lost a Quorum.

Mr. Los Angeles City Council President Eric Garcetti has placed a self serving umbrella as to what constitutes “disruptive” behavior that does not make any sense. July 28 Councilmember Cardenas was yelling into his microphone and Mr. Eric Garcetti or Deputy City Attorney Dion O'Connell did not say a word.

Angelenos already have a great mechanism in place to fight against this type of abuse from city politicians which is called the Brown Act. When there is a Brown Act violation against any member of the public, yes public speaker, the public as a whole becomes the victim. Therefore, Angelenos need to start reporting any violation or perceived violation of the Brown Act to Los Angeles County District Attorney Steve Cooley who has the authority to make sure all Brown Act violations are investigated. The complaints can be submitted anonymously.

• Brown Act Violations

The Brown Act governs meetings conducted by local legislative bodies such as boards of supervisors, city councils and school boards. As these legislative bodies are charged with conducting the people’s business, the Brown Act ensures that the business be conducted in open meetings, allowing public access and a free exchange of opinions. The law recognizes that a balance must be struck between the public’s right to open meetings and the legislative body’s need for confidentiality in certain circumstances. Although the Brown Act allows for closed sessions in specific, narrowly drawn exceptions, there is a presumption in favor of public access.

The District Attorney’s Office has the authority to prosecute individual members of the legislative body criminally and to initiate civil actions to prevent or nullify actions taken in violation of the Brown Act. The Public Integrity Division has the responsibility of investigating and prosecuting allegations of Brown Act violations.
