The big question is:
Will Bill Rosendahl teach everyone around the horseshoe how to do his kick ass moonwalk?

Was Chris Essel there working it for AEG? They are funding and running her campaign after all.

What the council will never, ever realize, standing in permanent scratch-their-heads mode about, is that 99.96 percent of us don't "do lunch" with the local celebrities, don't cocktail with them, don't get campaign contributions from them, don't air kiss them in line at major venues, share skyboxes with them at Staples, don't table-hop over to them at grotesquely overpriced restaurants, or get all misty-eyed handing them "XYZ Celebrity Day in L.A." parchments.
Do they make out lives any better, so as to warrant all this special treatment?
Only if we pay $11 a ticket to see their movies, just like the commoners in Des Moines have to.
And frankly, we just don't believe -- with all their tax attorneys and loopholes and shelters -- that they even pay their fair share of local taxes.
(If they ever had to, they'd move away).

Now be nice and show the council the respect their office deserves. They were elected by the people and to show insolent behavior towards them is to show towards the people who voted for them.
With that in mind, tomorrows agenda will include an item which will give the council the ability to not only have you barred for 30 meetings but also charge you with a crime should you demonstrate behavior which the council could call "insolent".
Shut up and smile or else.
Thank you Greg (call me Emliy Post) Smith.

They are paying for her staff too.
Young Su in on the AEG payroll while working for her full time.

Bar you for 30 meetings?
That's REEEEEdiculous, what good does that do?
They need something on the agenda to allow them to BAN ignorant demagogue's like Zuma Beeyotch and M. Hunt for LIFE.
Now we're talking!
My civic pride goes in the toilet -- and NOT the one's Villaraiogosa cleans -- everytime I see them ranting incoherently on the airwaves funded by the taxes THOSE lowlifes don't pay.

Did anyone hear what I thought Garcetti said in complaining about the State of California taking funds from L.A.- to paraphrase a part, "we've balanced our budget and watched our money, and they haven't... why should we give up money?"
This is odd since the City's budget is still founded on a lot of assumptions that may not happen.
It's a little funny to hear the complaints from the city people against the state people when they both share the same bad habits.

The city has 1,596,165 registered voters in a city with a population of over 3.8 million.
The total number of votes these politicos received should be considered “insolent” taking into account the majority of Angelenos didn’t vote or failed to vote for the lack of leadership council and mayor.
Here are the votes Los Angeles elected officials managed to obtain from the eligible registered voters.
Population: 3.8 million
City Registered Voters: 1,596,165

Trutanich came out and shocked the hell out of everyone saying there is a civil and criminal investigation now processing. Anyone else with more info contact his officer pertaining to this event. All clowncil and Trutanich and his attorneys the went behind closed doors. No doubt someone will leak something but Perry sure seemed very nervous covering her own ass.
Anonymous said:
Trutanich is a piece of work. Trying too hard to prove he's better than everyone even though he went to a night law school in Carson that came and went after a few years in the 70's?
You guys who bash the Mayor over his less than stellar law school academics can't talk -- your guy won't even put his pitiful alleged school on his resume, wording his Wikipedia to say that "after receiving his degree to USC, he moved onto law school," leaving the intentional impression it was at USC. Not.
South Bay University College of Law, wonder if it was even fully accredited? Did it close so fast because it wasn't or because it lost accreditation?
In any case pretty pathetic creds for the City Attorney of LA. Between that and his buffoonish threats against everyone from CRA volunteers to the LAPD to unnamed suspects today the City Attorney's are demoralized and embarrassed.

I bet the Jacksons are regretting that Michael died in L A instead of anywhere else.
Trutanich telling the Council last week that "it cost $10,000 per person to police the 2500 people who were there without tickets" as though the LAPD were negligent instead of vigilant, was a tipoff. If the LAPD hadn't done everything to deter the crowds from showing, if there had been ANY incidents, they'd have been blamed for that and it could have cost tens of millions in lawsuits.
Then the poor slob who ordered the lunches is facing the guillotine.
Trutanich and Zine have already tried and convicted the mayor and council with "fraud and corruption" all over talk radio, so their real target is clear and has never been in doubt.
This is a disgusting grandstanding move from Trutanich. He didn't have to make that comment publicly if he hadn't wanted the attention.
Even if it turns out to be nothing he's got the attention he wants, the speculation all over the city, the threats and intimidation that were sent to CRA intensified.
Zine and Perry apparently had heated words though they deny it.

The clowncil staffer better start finding an attorney for his boss instead of posting shit about Nuch on here. Word out of city hall is all clowncil members are scared shitless after what Nuch told them. You gotta know he's going to subpoena phone records and find out who was talking to AEG. Antonio wants to say he was in Africa was proably working with his big money donor Tim Lieweke and gave him carte blanche to the city. Great we finally have a city attorney who will take these assholes down!!1 STAY TUNED.

3:22 & 5:43 = someone who's so scarred of going to jail that they've lost their shit. They've had it all their own way for the longest time, burying the evidence and relying on a corrupt inept Delgadildo to cover for them.
It's over for Villar and his hommies, and there's nothing they can do about it.

Greuel's no Chick, or is she? In 21 days since she was sworn in, what has she done? Has she started that audit of the city attorney's office that she promised during the campaign? No. Trutanich said he wants the audit, so he can find out what's wrong with the way Delgadillo ran thing, and now Greuel is backing off. What? No political gain for Greuel? Chick grandstanded the audit thing for headlines, then she got her job as Bailout Czar in Sacramento. Now Chick wants the city to pay Chick's personal legal fees so she's playing politics over the audit. I guess Greuel is a Chick after all!

The two previous posters/ one poster are/ is a bullying jerk just like his uneducated, blowhard boss.
And I'm not a staffer -- I think it serves them all right for being suckered by Nooch's hammy phony act, showing what gutless cowards they are, would serve them all right to get a legal colonoscopy about now.
But that doesn't change the fact that the City Attorney lawyers are demoralized by all this, Nuch's bizarre near sociopathic behavior, and his "credentials" from a law school that is so bad he won't even admit to it. They're furious they were suckered but I say good, they all deserve it. Don't buy some uneducated demagogue's crap next time, use your brains.
If these people were all dumb enough to fall for this puppet of rightwing Republican revenge interests, they're too dumb to represent us as clowncilmembers or serve as our legal advisors anyway.

11:20 you Nooch hatchet-job Hack: Greuel made it very clear she wants the right to audit when she wants, NOT to be "invited" to just inspect what Delgadillo's shit is he left but NOT Trutanich's own that he makes.
THAT is what he wants, how he's bullshitting her, strung her along and lied to Chick: "I'll 'let you' audit Delgadillo but won't support your right to audit ME when and how you want: this is all about revenge on Delgadillo."
You Nooch people are all such assholes even Doug McIntyre smells your s'it and realizes he's been duped too.

AEG President Tim Leiweke Talks To John & Ken

Michael Jackson's rehearsal footage: Everybody wants it
Over the weekend, Sony Pictures emerged as the front-runner in a frenzied bidding war to acquire Hollywood’s hottest entertainment property: the film rights to footage from Michael Jackson’s rehearsals for his “This Is It” comeback concert series.
According to sources close to the negotiations -- who declined to be identified because they are not authorized to publicly discuss the matter -- AEG Live, the concert promoter behind the superstar’s planned 50-date performance residency at London’s O2 Arena, offered the rights to some 1,200 hours of rehearsal footage to all the major movie studios last week. Sony, Fox, Paramount and Universal all submitted bids.

It was not immediately clear who would produce or direct the movie. At a press conference earlier this month, AEG Live Chief Executive Randy Phillips said that Jackson’s estate would get the “lion’s share” of profits from any film made out of the rehearsal footage but that the concert promoter would also get a cut.

Michael Jackson: The Post-Mortem Spending Spree
(Skip)
Both Perry and Villaraigosa have many strong ties to AEG. The firm has showered Villaraigosa’s political initiatives with $150,000, backing the mayor’s successful push to significantly boost the city phone tax on residents, and supporting Villaraigosa’s failed bid to take over L.A. schools.
Both Perry and Villaraigosa are highly visible boosters of Anschutz and AEG president and CEO Tim Leiweke. Perry and Leiweke have breakfasted together, regularly chat and often publicly praise one another. On June 18, at a celebration of the Laker NBA Championship at the Coliseum, Perry went before a crowd of 80,000 — and thanked her friend Tim Leiweke. Earlier in June, she joined Villaraigosa in announcing that the NBA’s All-Star Game would come to Los Angeles in 2011 — and she again thanked Leiweke and AEG.
Perry’s support for Leiweke and Anschutz has created a persistent City Hall rumor: that Proposition R, approved by Los Angeles voters in 2006, which allowed the council members to remain in office for 12 instead of eight years, was initiated to keep Perry in power — so she can continue supporting AEG’s interests.

Sounds like the Mayor's people are on the defensive cause Nuch is close behind and ready to get them. Did you hear Jan Perry said while reading her statement in council that the MAYOR WAS WORKING ON THIS EVENT BEFORE I WAS ACTING MAYOR. Sounds like she is passing the buck to him. We don't know what Nuch found out speaking with AEG people but must have been good. Watch council members start talk singing like birds

Laura Chick calling Trutanich "a liar and demagogue" on Doug today a real bombshell.
"Not a man of his word," and how "he stood right next to me to get my endorsement and lied" that he'd issue his own ruling supporting her and Wendy's position no matter how the ruling came down.
She said she's sure "the public will see through this man as someone who will say anything to get elected" but is a liar. I don't have nearly as much faith in the public anymore as she does.
