Happy Birthday, Michael "Mayor Sam" Higby!
Michael celebrated his birthday at U-Wink in the Highland-Hollywood (or is it Hollywood-Highland?) Center surrounded by friends and family! The food was delicious, pictures of Michael from birth to present were projected on several large screens, along with pictures of MS Bloggers, and a great time was had by all! We also solved the mystery as to where Sarah Palin has been hiding (cute couple, don't you think?)!

They should make a Sarah Palin blow up doll. I would buy that in a New York minute. Proceeds can benefit the RNC.

Happy Birthday Michael!
Sorry I missed your party. The family of Mayor Sam... That must have been hilarious. I bet they just loved your girlfriend's cardboard cut-out! Weren't you raised by Dems?
I look forward to Joe posting the pictures.

you might have worn a fresh t-shirt

Bizarre? What's not fresh about that t-shirt?

I think the worn and frayed T-Shirt makes the Mayor look rugged and edgy!

Once again the commenteers find the most unusual things to discuss.
Not that I should have to defend my t-shirt but I will say it's relatively new and freshly washed. Whatever.
Anyway - thanks to the Burros and local LA luminaries who were in attendance - much appreciated!

Happy Birthday Michael,
It was very nice meeting your family. Your Progressive friend was a wealth of Baseball history.
Debi had a great time as well.
All the best,
David Hernandez

I notice you scrupulously avoid telling us how old you are -- typical also of MSM while they put their victims' (er, subjects') ages in parens right behind their names, like telling consumers when a can expires. Like age is THE most important and only thing to know about someone.
Yet, reporters/ bloggers/ userpers of ID NEVER put their own ages out there right behind their columns.
When THEIR ages would be more important -- how do we know whether an Editorial at the "New DAily News," e.g., is posted by an ignorant intern or a biased old- timer who sounds stupid by intent?
Who were the "local luminaries," Michael?
By the way -- you're still fat, but seem to have lost some 30 pounds? Can you confirm? If so, good job.
