WASHINGTON -- Hillary Rodham Clinton's name will be placed into nomination at the Democratic National Convention later this month, ending months of speculation about how her candidacy -- and supporters -- would be represented there.
"I am convinced that honoring Sen. Clinton's historic campaign in this way will help us celebrate this defining moment in our history and bring the party together in a strong, united fashion," Barack Obama said in a statement issued jointly by their two press offices.
The announcement ended months of speculation about the convention role for Clinton, who ran a spirited and competitive primary challenge to Obama. She had wanted a roll call vote at the convention as a way to acknowledge her historic achievement as the first female candidate to come close to winning her party's nomination for the presidency.

GEEZ, late as ever, Red Snot.
This was TELEVISION news a whole week ago.
You understand, that's TELEVISION news. They report stuff days and weeks after the real media gets it, and then say it's "exclusive."
I though "blogs" were supposed to be cutting edge, and out in front. This one BLEEDS rectally.
AND, for that WHOLE week it's been out, NO ONE has cried racism (so, you're WAY out of touch with reality -- AGAIN). Although I must say, I think you did avoid putting any typos in this ONE SENTENCE POST.
NEXT WEEK, how about a posting a cutting edge expose of that Spanish Baketball team "slanty eyes" photo (look it up, or wait for TELEVISION NEWS to replay it). NO, better yet, wait two weeks . . . until the olympics are over.

I'm "got" yelling back at you, asswipe. There are at least three spelling and grammatical errors in that one sentence, which tells you what? Eureka, the "dumber than" has been found.
We've now had three different instances of people who've made spelling errors in their messages pointing out that others had one typo, so they must also be stupid. Pots calling kettles black . . .
Can we all just agree that the occasional slip is understandable here, as in e-mail, where there's no way to spell-check? Just about every message has a few, if you dig deep. So what.
Red Spot's, on the other hand, are usually too numerous to count, and are complete evidence of his intellectual deficiencies. Even when he takes his times and spell most of the words correctly, he gets his facts wrong. He needs to just embrace his new identity as the angry moron shouting incoherently at the side of the road. A "Zuma Dog" who just won't do public comment.
