NEW Website Resource Page For Stock Investors & Global Economic Trends

To: All Mayor Sam Readers
Fr: Zuma Dogg
Re: Financial Markets/Global Economic Trends/Your Portfolio
Dt: 11/25/07

I know a lot of people reading are investors in the stock and other financial markets. And, I know a lot of investors subscribe to a "buy and hold" strategy, because they are in it for the "long-run".

However, I think the time is now to start monitoring the markets and your portfolio with a little more frequency than in previous times. Zuma Dogg is elevating the "investors alert" level a couple notches. StrategyUpdate.com was created to allow you to more closely monitor the markets, and provide basic, fundamental (yet somehow innovative) investment strategies to help you avoid the financial land mines in this volatile market.

(I have a feeling even the harshest of ZD critics will be able to appreciate this site. No need to thank me. I simply put it together for myself, so I could have all the links I use each day, in one place.)

Make sure you check out all the videos from Jim Cramer, Fast Money, TheStreet.com, Dr. Deming and of course...ah hem...Big ZD. (And the site was even designed so haters can easily avoid the ZD videos!)

It's one simple page you can go to for links to videos, live TV streams, news wires, updates and analysis. A one-stop resource page for financial investors in a global economy. (Laugh all you want anti-zd spinners, you will be addicted to the page in no time. I wish I could block yo azzes off the site!)

HERE'S A VIDEO I REALLY LIKED:

With all due respect, ZD, do you own one share of any stock?

Do you know the difference between an ETF and a Mutual Fund?

Can you explain P/E without resort to google?

Which of your friends asked you for the free plug?

What does this have to do with City politics?

Is the Midget Mechista Mexican Mayor manipulating mutual funds?

I heard the mayor is now corrupting our investments, that damn midget mutual manipulator.

2:03PM,

I DO think the economy IS a city issue. Did the sub-prime bubble burst affect the LA economy? So on a slow sunday, I thought I would give folks a chance to check it out. And you better bookmark it, or google alert it, cause i'm not gonna be blogging that stuff here. that's why I created THAT site. but it's worth a mention here, because, again...a lot of mayor sam readers own stocks...
AND AS A PUBLIC ADVOCATE, I THINK IT'S TIME TO START PAYING ATTENTION TO THE GLOBAL ECONOMY AND YOUR PORTFOLIO NOW!

What my credentials are, or whether I own stock, or not, is irrelevant.

The site speaks for itself, douchebag. If you don't like it, lunk it. You think I care if some crybaby loser reads it or not.

But if you follow this stuff, it sure is a good page to hit for links to everything you wanna look
at.

I know I pressured a close family member to by apple at $50, when everyone thought it was a loser.

I told them to sell at $190, just before it dropped to $150.

So don't worry about me...I've been tracking my picks for the past month, or so...and it's easier than picking hit records in the radio industry, or sniffing out corruption at city hall..

but strategyupdate.com is not about "picks". It's about overall strategy. You WISH you could see my "watch list", you no-strategy loser.

Guys, you just can't make this stuff up.

A gay guy who lives in a van and begs for money for gas, coffee and food is giving advice on investments.

This is because he has exhausted all the corruption investigations and shady dealings by The Midget Mechista Mexican Mayor and his corrupt fifteen members of the City Council, who all daily plot to rip off all of us, even those who live in Malibu and pay no City of Los Angeles taxes. (That's all irrelevant, by the way)

Then, he uncovered all the corruption and shadyness in the LAUSD. That was after he advised Supervisor Yaroslavsky on how to handle things at the Board of Supervisors (after all, he does "live" in his district, sort of) and he is now off to conquer other worlds.

It's been quiet all weekend up to now, and I was sort of hoping he was out advising the County Fire Chief on how to put down the Malibu fire, but I guess he's done with that one, it is going so well.

Like I said, you just can't make this stuff up...

ZD,

The question is relevant because if you do not own one share, if you have never "put your money where your mouth is," then yes, you are really just talking about something you don't understand.

Anyone can look at the overall reports on the health of the economy and say that troubled times are ahead. No kidding. 1/2 of all prognosticators predict a recession in 2008.

So, you are clearly trying to do one of two things:

(1) Make some loose prediction so you can come back and say your were a prophet.

or

(2) Plug some web site owned by you or your friends.

Neither really have much place here.

Hey, Zuma:

You want to do something positive? Really positive?

Then start bugging CalTrans about the massive grafitti that sits untouched for weeks on end on the freeways of Los Angeles, primarily the 405, the 10 and the 110.

We need a citizens' watch coupled with enforcement by the Highway Patrol and CalTrans. Everyone has a cell phone, we need a hot line to have truckers and citizens turn in these young hoodlums while they are in the act of tagging, and make their parents pay for the removal.

Go to it, Zuma, and then you can reprint the articles from the other papers in your spare time.

If you are successful, I'll lay off you for a month.

BOTTOM LINE: Man are you a bitter a-hole. I'm an f-ing guru, bro. don't fight it, embrace it.

How would you have liked to have bought apple at $50? Loose prediction my ass...i said the subprime was gonna burst 3 months before it happened.

Made sure my parents bought apple at $50. And it's not like they were anxious to accept stock tips from their crazy, homeless, zuma dogg son.

but i kinda had to get nuts, cause i saw the future. now it's a no brainer, but at the time...i was waaaay out on a limb.

The magic of ZD is that he does not catch everything...but when he stands up on the table and starts jumping up and down...you can take it to the bank.

so eat your words, loser...i picked apple at $50 and I was able to persuade my family to buy, thank goodness. i wouldn't have been able to get over that one.

Wanna know what's next? Too bad, jealous loser. go figure it out youself. i created a website to help you make your own calls...

strategyupdate.com

p.s. just as important as picking what to buy, is knowing when to sell.

that's even tougher to get people to sell. people always think it's going to go right back up.

anyone still holding starbucks? i wish I could put my friend on the phone who i was BEGGING to have sell his shares. but he wanted to wait for it to go back up, since it was down so much.

I said, bro, it ain't coming back...sell now, sell now...it's about to tank. (It did!) but he still thinks it's coming back.

strategyupdate.com was borne out of the frustration of watching my friends and family twist in the wind with their portfolio, by trying to provide them an easy site so they can have access to all of the stuff i am looking at each day to make these calls.

it's really not hard. all the answers are being put out there each day, but most people don't have 12-16 hours a day to monitor this stuff the way i have been recently.

i hope gme goes up tomorrow!

Zuma's posts are reminiscent of the alchemists who told kings they knew how to turn lead into gold. "Then why are you not a king?" the smart kings would ask.

Or the real estate hucksters, who sell you their "proven method" for finding a buying properties for zero down. "Then why do you not own 1000 properties?" savvy investors ask.

If you are some guru, Zuma, why aren't you a millionaire?

Because you are jackass.

Zuma, do you ever anticipate a time where you will have made peace with your father and your family and started to realize the true authority that lies within you? You fight hollow battles with authority and when that doesn't work, you try to prove yourself heroic by making us money with stocks.

And still no one pays attention and no one cares.

Why?

When will you grow tired of pointing out the fault in others while ignoring your own?

When someone has as little as you do, they are either tremendously fulfilled/satisfied/relieved or they are hostile, empty, sad people who continually beat their chests to prove their value to others.

Regardless of the past, what is the future for you?

there are LOTS of good stocks...i don't catch them all...i'm not out there scanning the market for winners...certain ones catch my attention in areas i am interested in.

haven't mentioned it, but based on my "politcal activism" or whatever you call the past year at city hall, i think health care and clean energy is good, because i see the government pushing those sectors to the public, so THAT'S gonna happen.

there's a lot out there...but i think the ones i mention will do well in the short term and are most likely to withstand any overall market "dips" in the long run.

I've got a river bridge I might be able to buy - not the Brooklyn Bridge, but one in Wisconsin. It might be a good one to put across the L.A. River, and maybe call it the L.A. Villar Bridge. It's a little rickety, almost twice his age, and the purchase price is pretty low ($1.00). Getting it here would be tricky, but we can always leave it to Villar to pull a fast one and actually get it here to L.A.
