Small Town Rocky Delgadillo Watch, Installment Two
He's back! Everyone's favorite local "not ready for prime time" city attorney also known as the Small Town Rocky Delgadillo - Arnold Alvarez-Glassman - the simultaneous chief legal counsel for Pomona, Pico Rivera, Bell Gardens and West Covina - is at it again!
Here's the latest:
Here's the latest:
Supporters of an effort to change West Covina's City Council seats to be elected by district instead of at large seats say that Alvarez-Glassman has stymied their efforts to submit petitions so that voters may consider the measure when their petition was rejected for a second time by the City.Stay tuned for the latest about Arnold. I am sure he will continue to keep us entertained.
As if Arnold doesn't have enough work now he wants to take on the position of the City of Rosemead's redevelopment agency attorney. The San Gabriel Valley Tribune reports Arnold has made large donations to at least two of Rosemead's City Council members.
A nearly 18 year old LA Times story about Arnold - from the days he was a Montebello City Councilman - has surfaced and it gives the genesis of his unique hyphenated name. Surprise! Arnold might have renamed himself for political reasons!

Interesting on how a Pico Rivera City Attorney,City Manager, and two City Councilmen all have longtime Montebello connections.

Isn't Glassman the same jerk who wrote a letter to the Foothill Cities Blog threatening them because they exposed a scandal in Pomona? The Blog exposed that the loser City Manager Douglas Dunlop got his 30 plus years younger girlfriend (Wendy?) a job in Pomona.

Yes, that's the same one.
What does it say about an attorney that exposes his cities to this much litigation?
Bell Gardens - The self appointed C M and messy councilman featured recently in the L.A. Weekly.
In Pico Rivera there a few people that haven't been featured in the L.A. Weekly that are being investigated too.
Like B G., Pico Rivera they orchestrated the hiring of their C M too. He was hired (05), then fired (06), then rehired after they orchestrated a new council majority in March(07).
And this guy once worked for a member of Congress and the L.A. City Attorney's office at one time and was under investigation before he left.
It's not the CM though dating the much, much, younger girl in Pico it is the Mayor.

In Pomona it is the CM who is like 65 yrs old dating a 30 year old that he got a job for in Pomona. And Glassman wrote the letter to the Foothill Cities blog threatening them when they reported it. Anyone know who the girl is?

Pomona, Bell Gardens, Cudahy, Maywood and her home town - Pico Rivera, all in Gloria Molina's 1st District. This is the type of politics that wil lbe her legacy. ALong with the propping up of Mike Hernandez and Antono Villar. Her style of politcs has worked as well as her diet.

Walter, we all know you are getting contributions from developers. Why else would you say you "support" them (6/27/07 3:29am). While we're at it, why were you still awake and blogging at 3:29am anyway?
If you're not taking contributions from developers, we'd like some proof. Please share who has been giving you that $7000 each month.

Your right about Molina ,June 27, 2007 3:46 PM. Though she shares the dubious honor with Napolitano and Calderon.
