The union representing professors, counselors and coaches at California State University campuses has authorized a first ever systemwide strike.
81% of the membership cast votes and of those 94% supported a walkout over salaries and other issues.
According to insiders, the union is planning a series of "rolling strikes" that will last one to two days at various campuses.
