Anony-Blog Targets Lauritzen

When it comes to anony-blogging, this old, dead Republican knows something about the subject. So it didn't surprise me to that someone has put up an anoymous hit blog attacking incumbent school board member Jon Lauritzen.

The blog - written as if Lauritzen was speaking himself - takes digs at the school board member for being fiscally irresponsible and engaging in "pay to play" politics (even though money collected by Mayor Villaraigosa to help fund Lauritzen's opponent - among others - has come in large amounts from companies and individuals who do business with the city).

When asked by the Sister City, represenatives for the campaign for Lauritzen's opponent - Tamar Galatzan - denied any involvement in the creation of the blog. We don't know if the blog has any connection to the Galatzan campaign or the Mayor's Committee for Government Excellence and Accountability but it would be interesting to investigate.

I'm not going to read it.

If someone is unwilling to sign his name to an essay written in a political campaign, what does that tell you?

It screams "credibility issues."

Those issues could be that the "facts" stated are a complete lie. Or, the issues may arise from the identity of the person itself. Was it posted by someone who's on the Villaraigosa payroll?

Walter,

While i understand your reluctance to read my work this blog leads by example.

You respond to anonymous political essays all the time -- why is this any different?

Just asking.

Also note that not everyone is who supports Tamar is part of the Mayor's payroll.

Ugh -- why can't creative folks who want to see Tamar elected have an orginal thought of their own without everyone assuming something else.

What do i care -- i'll be out of a job in 3 months anyway, so Walter you don't mind if i work on my computer skills ( i used to teach it) on this blog do you?

thanks for your non-read response to me.

Walter, you are a certified phony. You read and respond almost every day to posts by the faker Dave Elliott who posts under the phony name of "Zuma Dogg", you also read "Mayor Sam".

So how come, all of a sudden, you are on a high horse and refuse to read some other faker's article?

C'mon, Man, you are starting to sound like a liberal. Too much time spent with your faker buddy Elliott.

I have confirmed that the blogger posting as "possibly jon lauritzen" is not jon lauritzen.

And now that it has been confirmed that it is not possible that the poster is Jon Lauritzen please stop posting under the name possibly jon lauritzen or change your name to not jon lauritzen.

Smiley - If blogs could be sued for libel (they can't be sued for slander since its not oral...idiota), than mayorsam would have been sued many many times long before you ever started posting.

CITY ATTORNEY SOLICITS MONEY
FOR HIS PERSONAL PROGRAMS

Why is City Attorney Deputy Robert Ferber allowed to use his position with the City Attorney’s office to AGGRESSIVELY PUSH SOLICITIATIONS FOR MONEY FOR HIS PERSONAL “FOUNDATION” to people who have to work with him and other City offices and PEOPLE WHOSE NAMES AND ADDRESSES HE ACQUIRES DURING HIS CITY WORK.

When does Mr. Ferber do his attorney work that we pay for? If he’s out teaching school children as he says in the attached material, that must be done during the day from Monday to Friday.

Has anyone checked the City phone records to see how much of this is done on City time?

AND HE’S ASKING FOR PAYMENT TO HONOR ANOTHER CITY ATTORNEY? Who is Dov Lesel? Is he also teaching kids while he’s supposed to be working for the City.

CITY OFFICIALS HAD BETTER LOOK AT AND STOP THIS CONFLICT OF INTEREST BEFORE THE MEDIA REALLY TAKES A CLOSE LOOK AT HOW LONG ITS BEEN GOING ON!!!!!!!!

Great mailer showing Ms. Galatzan's mother in front of a chalkboard as a teacher. Of course they fail to mention that she taught at a private Jewish school in the Valley.

Now I have nothing against private schools, I taught in one for seven years, but the mailer seems to imply that Ms. Galatzan is getting sound and sage advice from her mother on what a classroom islike.

Private school classrooms in no way represent what public school is like. It is an insular environment where parents are actively involved in the education of their children. There is usually a well funded parent support group and any student is is troublesome is removed from the campus.

Deceit, deception, and mis-direction, the themes of Ms. Galatzan's campaign.

Subj: A GREAT COMEDY EVENT!!! (from Bob Ferber)
Date: 2/11/2007 10:50:38 P.M. Eastern Standard Time
From: k9kittee@yahoo.com
To: k9kittee@yahoo.com
Sent from the Internet (Details)

Dear Friends and Family (yes...family too!) :-)

Please join me for our 4th annual Stand Up for Animals
Comedy Night and Auction on Sunday, March 4, 2007 at
the world famous Improv Comedy Club in Hollywood. All
proceeds will go to Voice For The Animals Foundation.
VFTA is a non-profit organization of love that is
known for its innovative community programs that
support animals and people. Rescue, rehabilitation and
adoption of dogs and cats is at the Foundations's
core, while the Helping Friends Program enables
seniors and disabled persons to keep and care for
their beloved pets.
The Foundation also conducts classes in humane
education at local schools and offers a 24-hour
telephone hotline to assist the public with
animal-related needs.

For those of you who know about "Baron's Buddies", my
violence-prevention program where I bring my
"challenged and so-called unadoptable" animals to
schools to teach reverance for life...VFTA makes
"Baron's Buddies" a reality. So when you support this
event and VFTA, you're helping allow us to bring
Baron's Buddies to children not only in Los Angeles
but nationwide (yes, we're making plans to take the
show "on the road" thru videos). But it takes money
to make this happen. So help make a difference in
this troubled world of ours and support this event.

We have been sold out for the last 3 years, so please
mail in your ticket requests soon. I am including the
invitation and reply form as an attachment. You can
also pay online at: www.vftafoundation.org.

Not only is this great charity but you will be
laughing for days. I
promise!

And in addition to purchasing tickets, we are also in
need of great auction items, such as dinner for two at
a special restaurant, a night at a great condo or
hotel, TV or movie set visits, tickets to sporting
events or concerts, airline miles, bowl boxes,
meetings with remarkable people, etc. If you have
access to any of these, please let me know asap.

PLEASE HELP, GUYS...this is one charity that really
does make a difference...for both animals, children
and our future!!!

I look forward to seeing you there.

Smiley-

I was so glad to see you post here! Now go back to phone banking. You kick ass at that and all of us who have ever worked on a campaign with you know it.

Concentrate. We beat stupid Riordan's pet Caprice Young and we will beat Tamar!

More on Tamar lies....
the so-called $4million parking lot is from the Beaudry real estate deal that happened during the Riordan-controlled school board--- BEFORE Jon even was elected.

February 21, 2007 2:01 PM

Anonymous Anonymous said:

And even better?/

The picture in the mailer IS NOT EVEN THE PARKING LOT IN QUESTION!

Liars, liars. Why do campaign workers think it's okay to just blatantly lie?
