Libertarian Party of California (LA City Region) Says "NO" on R & H

Although ZD has not declared a politcal party affiliation yet, it looks like the Libertarian Party of California (Region 64/LA City) liked my campaign speech on Proposition R (City Council Term Extentions/Lifetime Health Care Benefits) and Proposition H ($1 Billion Bond) because they voted to take a "NO" position on both measures last night, and that's gonna be the position they take in November.

So, go ahead and laugh and make your jokes about the party, but ZD just made a nice little dent (if not a big one) by taking his "Public Comment" LIVE to the people, and they agreed...No on R, No on H.

Which political party in what district will I be speaking at next? Find out this weekend...yeah, yeah!

Godzilla, the shark from "Jaws", and 3 stoned friends of Zuma Dogg also say "NO" on R & H.

Zuma Dogg -- you shouldn't take credit for somehow "persuading" the Libertarian party to oppose these ballot measures. Libertarians are by definition opposed to using taxpayer money to fund social programs. To think you and your oratory skills played a part in their decision-making process is ludicrous.

I actually like you, Zuma Dogg. However, sometimes your ignorance (or naivete, if you want to be generous) when it comes to politics is astounding. You didn't make the aforementioned "dent," nor have you had any impact on this issue at all. As I stated earlier, I actually appreciate what you're trying to do, but the self-aggrandizing comments have got to stop.

Zuma's dog also says "NO". or at least it sounds like he is saying "NO". he might actually just be saying "WOOF", but after you hit the bong at least 20 times it sure does sounds like "NO".

Good for you Zuma Dogg. As far as the person who says Zuma isn't making a dent, tell that to all those who are now watching Channel 35 and listening to him. Then you have the AM hosts also listening. He eloquently stated his argument and YES people are listening.

Didn't your mother ever teach you if you don't have something nice to say about a person don't say anything at all????

Of course the "No on Prop R" portion of this endorsement has a somewhat surreal aspect to it, right?

It's not like any Libertarians are in danger of being termed out, anywhere, anytime soon--especially not in L.A. First they'd have to get elected, a nasty hitch that.

(Is the mayor of Bellflower still one, or maybe Moreno Valley?)

Try Googling "Libertarian" AND "elected officials" together and you may have to agree that Alaska is their "hot spot" in the West.

2:22PM says, "ZD, you shouldn't take credit for somehow "persuading"..."

I didn't say I took credit. I said they "must have liked my speech".

As a penniless underdog(g) who is fighting to uncover the shadiness of politicians with millions of dollars -- adding the part, "they must have liked my speech" is just my way of sticking it to City Hall, because I know there could be nothing more frustrating than having a guy like me being invited as a guest speaker (and again, I WAS invited to present my position) and having them take a "no" positon (however inconsiquential). So, it's part of the tactic...sorry it comes off so narcasistic, but it's only to frustrate the wrong-doers.

So again, I don't take credit, however, I GIVE credit to the Libertarian Party for inviting me to speak, ask a bunch of questions on the topic of "R" ("H" was kinda a "no-brainer") and seeing the light (I mean darkness) of "R".

Shouldn't you be spending more time overseeing your Neigborhood Empowerment Committee and less time monitoring and commenting on my posts?

And again, for all your posts, you are yet to correct me on the content of my info. (Weak-ass arguments on your part. And everyone sees it.)

Maaaaaaaaan, if I was as in-effective as you, I would have given up a long time ago, but you keep motivating me to carry on, because with weak spinsters like you, this is a f-ing breeze.

Maybe the Mayor should hire ME to spin myself, instead of you, emasculated wimp!

Ah, see, Bee-otch, that's why you should have paid attention during those Sylvan classes mommy paid hard cash for, to help your reading comprehension, when you were an (actual) adolescent. You know, PRE-arrested development.

I was "correcting" you on your post. You're probably right that this is the stand they've taken, (big "duh"). The "correction" had to do with why anyone who bother to post this here (or anywhere). And even more so, why anyone would care.

I'll put it in smaller, fewer words, so you can get it:

Libertarian party sez' what?

It DON'T matter. Who cares.

The applause-0-meter didn't even click on.

They don't even rate their own skinny polling booth most places.

Their absentee ballots are filed in a a shoebox downtown, size 6 triple-A (that means extra narrow).

This is the party who's MAIN goal is to get just ONE real player elected, somewhere where people actually live. . . so OF COURSE they want to spin the turnstyles more often, hoping sometime this century, they'll land one small seat, somewhere in a municipality that actually has it's OWN police force.

L.A. remains a one-party town, Dogg-ee-dime-bag, just ask your city council, next time your talking off-topic during public comment.

ALL of these illegal bond issues will go down in flames!!!!! And it will be because of ALL of us Americans (ZD included) who will not allow these crooks in City Council and Sacramento rip us off.

It's too bad that EVERYTHING that these clowns do cannot be put on the ballot! We would shoot down every single corrupt piece of "legislation" that comes down the pike!

Who do they think they are?????

(Tips hat respectfully) I also endorse the Opposition to Measure R and Measure H. And for what it is worth, I endorse Mr. Dogg. He is a man of worth and valor, as is Dgarzila and Mr. Alan Smithe.

Hoist the flag boys, and bring us around into the wind. We've got work to do!
