Not one single media outlet has stated the obvious when reporting on the mayor's LAUSD take over plan and failure of the school system. Why haven't they pointed out the Jose Huizar was president of the school board for 4 years and did absolutely nothing to change or help the situation?

Da Mayor has no authority to do what he's announced:
* He doesn't have the Constitutional authority to take over LAUSD.
* He doesn't have the moral authority -- because he opted out of public schools for his own family, sending them exclusively to private schools.
* And, fatally, he's not even attempting to get local authority, preferring instead to rush up to Sacramento and try to call in favors to get what he wants.
Antonio has overreached, and it will cost him. He's in bed with Riordan, and the public money pirates who want to pimp charter schools above all.
Huizar is probably shaking his dum dum head in agreement with whatever villababoso says. I'm wondering if that baboso is a gang leader and not a mayor.
Actually, what does Monica Garcia think? She will soon represent District 2 and she got elected solely because of the mayor's support.
Will she support the mayor's plan to put her into an advisory role?
Fnny you would mention the District 2 race cause there's nothing out there as if its even going on. Does anyone think the Mayor would appoint Riordan as superintendent? When the mayor critizes the school board is he including Jose Huizar and why hasn't Jose said anything about any of this? How can the media ignore the fact that a councilman was part of what the mayor is slamming as a failure?
Where is HUIZAR??? He can't be found to get a comment. I'd like to see how he tries to cover his ass on that issue. It seems that he's blocked it out all together.

Sacramento -- Oakland Mayor Jerry Brown holds a commanding lead in the Democratic race for state attorney general as do other veteran politicians in their races for statewide office, according to a Field Poll released today.
Brown, who was governor from 1974 to 1982, leads Democratic rival Rocky Delgadillo, Los Angeles city attorney, 59 percent to 18 percent with 23 percent of voters undecided.
